there were some swooshes on the cut transitions but its not the banana peel slip sound effect every 5 seconds which is definitely better

I'm a commercial fisherman on the east coast of Canada and I can assure you we catch halibut way bigger than 150 lbs! We've caught one 79" long and roughly 350 lbs a rarer catch 150 is way more common tho
Yeah I only know the sizes I've seen catch and I'm not a commercial fisherman, did not know they got that big!

Yet again drae you will have a much easier time pulling the fish in if you just stop the boat when pulling them in.
For fire fighting missions, check the skill tree out. Some missions might be unlocked through that.
He will just have to drive around in his service boat for a few hours. They don't show up in the office, they spawn randomly in the world. You get a notification just like the cargo missions that spawn at the small places you make deliveries to.

Drae I noticed you removed the sound effects. I honestly didn't mind them, but I respect you for listening to all the people complaining and removing it.
Edit: He got rid of some of the sound effects. Which I would say is more reasonable.
Minute 8 sadly has a sound effect. I think he just reduced the usage of them

RIGHT
The windmill fish seems to have been fixed with recent patches. Also, I've found the best place to aim the catching hook is above the fish's mouth, between the point of the hook and the shaft, usually just after the hook has come out of the water. No need to move around the deck, just aim for the same spot, hooked each time.
Also, get the Skarven and fully upgrade the engine if you do just small size deliveries. 28 knots. It's a huge difference.

Oh, my lord, seeing all this game has to offer already at super early access makes me incredibly happy to see what it will offer. This game it going to be up there for game of the year whenever it does fully launch

Like are prices at Værøy higher than Røst and that's why that haul was worth over 10 mill?

Firefighting missions will randomly appear like the random cargo missions around the map. They do exist!

Idk if you've played it before but try Contractville. Its a ton of fun and is exactly the type of game you usually play. You've given me SO many games to play and would be nice to do the same for once 🤣
Drae if you just hold the tip of the hook on the line when hauling in the long line the fish will automatically attach to the hook, you don't have to swing
Drae, new viewer here, it looks like you snag the fish better if you aim at the hook not the fish. Love your stuff!
I’ve not seen a storm like that since the release. I have 50 hours so far and have seen 1 storm and occasionally rain. They also brought back net fishing but I haven’t tried it yet

So you can also adjust the searchlight up down left and right
Service missions like firefighting and towing boats back to port with the tier 2 service boat don't show up in the office. They spawn randomly in world just like the random cargo missions that spawn when driving a cargo boat.
You can net fish on that boat btw idk why it didn’t pop up for you, did you reload a save and not do the net skill? The nets actually work really good now btw and I stay at the north islands now mostly.
The Skarven is currently the fastest boat when max upgraded it does like 28knots

Net fishing was in the game, but I think a few weeks ago, they realized it still needed more work for it to actually work, so they took it back out until they can get it to work properly I think it was something about the fish hit point stayed geolocked to the map and not the ever moving location of the boat/actually fish

Oh hey you got the SPINNY fish too lmao. So I just started spamming the left click the second I see the fish cuz some of em where whirling around at MOCK 10 on my screen. Seems to do it on the first 1 - 3 fish per line since update

Drae, use autopilot if you are going further fishing spots 😊 you can map it with those markers and when you are close you just click autopilot on 👍
The autopilot is unreliable right now. You have to keep an eye on it if you don’t want to run aground.

Firefighting, and towing missions appear on the map, not at the office. Tried a firefighting mission, had to abandon it as the flames wouldnt die.....

Once you have a service boat every now and again rescue towing missions turn up on the map, Yesterday i had a big storm during play then when the storm went away i had a towing job turn up it was a no flippy flipped over upside down i had to tow back to Rost

Drae- on the off chance you see this comment, I was wondering if you’re going to return to the hunter: call of the wild as the newest map is set to release on Tuesday. The map is….i can’t say or spell the name, but it’s based in India. And yes, Bengal Tigers are one of the many new huntable species. Those and snow leopards are the only two “endangered” species available to hunt, so still no elephants or anything. But the tigers are limited to a total population of 16 on the map at a given time, and they don’t respawn in the same area you kill them in. And more often than not, if you decide to hunt one, they’ve already been hunting you, and a showdown often happens…looks like a super awesome map, and given how much I enjoyed your previous call of the wild videos, for me, this might make the best one yet.
Anyway, even if you aren’t planning on making a video of it, I’d suggest playing it on your own personal time. But since it’s Father’s Day here in the USA, I also want to wish you a happy Father’s Day. And also say thank you for the hours of enjoyment (and curse you for the large number of games I ended up buying after watching you play).
