Great vlog as usual, but my main takeaway from this upload is, one way or another, you've safely completed your PCT trek. What with all the fires this year, that has been a major concern, and it's a concern that some vloggers seem to get bothered by when viewers will inquire as to whether they are safe. Thank you for putting minds at ease with this lovely video. Looking forward to the rest of your PCT series.
Thank you for your words Richard. It seems strange to me that vloggers would be bothered by people just wanting to know they're ok. There were people I hiked with early on that didn't get to finish and for a while it seemed like new fires were popping up every day or two, so I appreciate the concern!
@@nikhikes3412 You're welcome. I think some vloggers might be worried that if they divulge too much information in their comments (e.g., I got stopped at Holcomb Creek due to fire closure, and I couldn't make it to Canada, but I'm safe) that the viewers will stop watching subsequent uploads. I wonder if some vloggers may not realize how sketchy these fires can be. Anyway, I appreciate this video. I'll reserve further comment for the end of your PCT series. As always, thanks for taking us along!
@@richardinjapan4578 Definitely. And they move fast, you can be put in a dangerous situation very quickly. I really feel like the PCT is turning into an early year trail, and just deal with the snow. Thanks for following, enjoy!
Looking forward to the rest of your PCT story. Happy you're back with your wife. So what are your plans, more hiking, more vlogs or the end of the trail? BtW, I too love Silky saws Stay chill Puja
Thankyou so much! Definitely hiking! It's really smokey up here right now so hopefully some more in the fall possibly winter as well. Wife and I want to hit the Colorado trail at some point but probably won't be next year!
This is freaking outstanding scenery my friend, trail looks just freaking gorgeous! 😮😮
Thank you so much for the very kind words!
