Toupac’s personality comes out more and more with each video. Seeing him spill loops everywhere and then look to the camera like, “did I do that?” is super funny. His little waddles and hops are adorable. He certainly knows how to play to his strengths and show his best side. Maybe you can color his loops like food with fruit juices like blueberries. :) Then he can have his own version of it.

Funny how he only likes the yellow ones. I had an African Grey that would NOT eat the green pellets of a parrot food that was made up of similar colors to Fruit Loops.
It's not that Toucans can't hae Iron, it's that they can't handle nearly as much as humans can before they get sick. One or two loops isn't going to do any permanent harm, but if you give them too much then there are medical risks.

Toupac looks so good and so cute trying out a new food! I have a Double Yellow-Headed Amazon and if I want him to try something new I have to eat a bite of it in front of him first otherwise he won't touch it lol. He is between 40-43 years old and it still amazes me every day how intelligent he is.
Birds typically don't care about scent, their sense of smell isn't any better than ours. It's perfectly ok to put a baby back in the nest! If they throw it out again that's because there's something wrong with the baby, not because it smells like human.

I don't think iron is a problem... Fruitloops have 8mg of iron per 100g and berries have 4-5mg/100g. So fruitloops have only twice as much iron, meaning eating 10g of fruitloops is equivalent to 20g of berries when you compare the iron contents...
I address this within the video, especially closer to the end. Froot loops are actually pretty low in iron and it's most certainly only a very very rare thing. Rest assured knowing his diet will not be replaced with breakfast cereal any time soon 😂.

Birds typically don't care about scent, their sense of smell isn't any better than ours. It's perfectly ok to put a baby back in the nest! If they throw it out again that's because there's something wrong with the baby, not because it smells like human.

I don't think iron is a problem... Fruitloops have 8mg of iron per 100g and berries have 4-5mg/100g. So fruitloops have only twice as much iron, meaning eating 10g of fruitloops is equivalent to 20g of berries when you compare the iron contents...

Iron is a problem. Toucans have iron storage problems.
I address this within the video, especially closer to the end. Froot loops are actually pretty low in iron and it's most certainly only a very very rare thing. Rest assured knowing his diet will not be replaced with breakfast cereal any time soon 😂.
