Looks great! One question.. iam a bit confused. Do i have to change the atmosphere manually each time for every location iam at, or does it happen automatically when i select atmosphere. Ini oder atmosphere extendet ini? Thank you

I like it but I think it’s too loud 💀maybe the grass needs to be toned down a bit?

Oh the volume ? Mod does not change that lol. I just use the default audio settings. Yeah seems Loud.

@@vclyxy7400 Yeah DS2 surround sound is good. Thanks for trying the DS2LightingEngine. I expect a release soon.
Yeah this is also part of the lighting engine. Not separate all one package.

Sorely lacking any kind of a global illumination solution. In its current form, DS2 Lightning Engine darkens the game too much and the PBR shader it uses destroys so much detail. Regardless, impressive work.

Does ShadowPlay recording works with this?

Hmm currently it clashes with the mod. The Geforce experience app. You can use OBS for streaming and recording.

@@DS2LightingEngine Thanks for answering. I actually installed the mod yesterday and NVIDIA recording through the Nvidia app (not GeForce Experience) seems to be working without apparent issues.
Another question, is this mod supposed to keep the original "feel" of the game?
I ask because there's a big difference between "atmospheres-extended.ini" vs "atmospheres.ini". The extended one looks much more muted in tone and washed out.

@@bmthnumber1 Extended keeps the original lighting tones except in few areas like Dragon Aerie. Additionally Extended is not as saturated as atmospheres.ini. Atmospheres.ini uses a lot of color grading and has much higher saturation than extended in relative comparison. Extended reduces usage of LDR LUT's to have better compatiblity of HDR. You can use either one. But those are 2 ones. Also I having saturation/contrast does not necessarily mean it is better. It is just more saturated. If you like that look then use that.

      I see.
Is there a way to just have the improvements to shadows, ambient occlusion and general lighting without the changes to color grading, sky boxes, etc?
I also tried the version that only does texture override (I installed Scholar of the Second Sin texture pack), while it works, it seems to force flip queue model which means I'm forced to run borderless and can't use DLDSR. Is there a way to fix that?
      Thanks in advance!

@@bmthnumber1 Yes sure. Make sure you have the ds2le_user_settings.ini file in your game dir. It would have been created since you used the LE once. Or you can just install LE. in F1 there is disable flip model swapchain press save. Next install the tex override only. It should now allow you change resolutions.
It is part of Nexus FAQ. How to manually edit.ini using a notepad.
