@@benjaminnnkt You little ripper! Stoked you liked ’em! Hope you’re ready to get fair dinkum and celebrate Christmas-it’s gonna be a real beaut! Make sure you enjoy all my vids, and don’t go havin’ too much of a knees-up without me, alright?
Issac, I have an idea for the Reindeer for Santa and his sleigh. To keep the Reindeer from falling over. What if you would put a red piece of plastic harness around the Reindeers neck and link them together with some hot glue in the middle of the harness's. Maybe that will keep them from falling down. Just a thought.
I personally don’t like inflatables only because I like my decor to look nice during the day as well. Lately with all this wind they would fly away lol. BUT I did like the snow glide and the 🦖 carrying Santa 😁
I have 147 yard inflatables (just Christmas alone). I enjoy all your content as always. I have started DIY projects to incorporate w/ inflatables (hence storage building/workshop lol). I use pararcord to tie down inflatables, not that cheap rope that comes w/ inflatables. Also use foot long nails to tie off paracords, goes deeper i to the ground. Ive never used any ropes, stakes, etc from the boxes. For anyone looking, Gemmy Coropration out of Coppell, TX make really good yard inflatables.
I wish the snow globe had a light on the base part. It would have been nice to see the Merry Christmas part. Other than that, they are all pretty nice! Thanks for showing them.
A little bit of a tip from my experience is to light the inflatables from the front with a spot light as you loose alot of detail and color at night because they are generally not well lit . Be sure to strategically place them so the spot light doesn't interfere with other decor and lights as the spotlight somtimes will over splash depending on what kind you use. I don't use inflatables anymore as i find they can be expensive not well lit and they don't last but few seasons, most issues and im not alone on this, is they stop inflating the blower motor is fine its the material and you can read up on it too manufacturers have not found a way to make these things last and they are well aware the issue and the fact that after a while the material gives out and they just do not inflate. i felt i was wasting money i don't even get decor made of fabric and metal either I started collecting blow molds i made a few things i choose wisely do to my climate here i like my investments to last and I'm able to repair and put back in use again. i do like the snow globe its best out of all of them in my opinion, but be ware of moisture the little foam balls will clump up as well as stick to the clear plastic and it won't work the same it will look bad until it drys out which can take a while , I had a really big Frosty the snowman one. That's why if you notice the most snow globe inflatables now are projected lights to simulate snow because of that issue. Good luck , like your videos, your very creative and it gives me, a DIYer some myself ideas and inspiration. Happy holidays and God bless.
@@scottcleveland4006 Thanks so much for sharing your experience and those fantastic tips! Lighting inflatables from the front with a spotlight is a brilliant idea for bringing out their colors and details, and your advice on positioning to avoid light spill is super helpful. I totally understand your points about the durability of inflatables and how the fabric can wear out. It’s true-many fellow decorators have shared similar frustrations with them not lasting more than a few seasons. Your choice to invest in more long-lasting options, like blow molds, and even making your own decorations, is inspiring and a smart way to make sure your display endures over the years. Also, your insight on snow globe inflatables is great to know! It’s disappointing how moisture can cause the foam snow to clump, and I hadn’t thought about how common the switch to projected lights has become. I’ll keep all this in mind and make sure to carefully weigh my investment in any inflatables, especially when it comes to maintenance and longevity. Thanks again for the thoughtful input and for helping improve my display strategy!
With regards to the snow globe. Forest is spelled "Froest". Is it supposed to be that way or does the manufacturer need to address a quality control issue?
@@whammy_kablammy I had no idea there was even a misprint until I went to go look after you mentioned it. So I’m sure if you want answers to these questions you’ll have to reach out to the manufacturer directly - as I have no idea the inner manufacturing workings of a company.
Should make a note that the Snow Globes inflatables that have moving parts(aka snowing) do not work very well, if not at all, if you don't have a very level area.
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY I only know From experience. Had to make sure I put these type of inflatables on the flattest part of my yard. Even the slightest slope cause havoc.
Some of these are interesting but sadly most are either too plain or not lit well, and if you are in an area with more humidity that snow globe won't last a season before all the styrofoam balls are melted together
These inflatables might look nice to some, but they don't last nearly as long as Gemmy Airblown Inflatables that you would find in a store. These only last a few years at most, while gemmy ones last at least 5-10 years.
