  • Ernie Cavallo ’71 discovered the soil as a young man in his twenties and has never had clean hands since. He fell in love with Galanthus, also known as snowdrops.
Through his own research and information from the generous Galanthus community in the United Kingdom, he has learned much and is eager to share. Ernie has gardened on Long Island for 48 years and hopes to do so for another 48 years.
His presentation was part of the Arboretum Saturday Speaker Series sponsored by Hamilton College. More information: bit.ly/33vsSLu
