Stunning. We didn’t celebrate holidays growing up. I’ve never had my own Easter basket. But I always had a huge girly basket for my daughter. And huge manly basket for my son. Every year. My daughters basket always had ruffles bows and satin. My son always had blues and whites and some yellow. With a lot of musical adornments.
I’m Native American and I grew up in Phoenix, AZ. We never got Easter baskets. We used our shirts to hold the eggs and candy. We used to go to the free Easter egg hunt at St Luke’s hospital. We lived in the Duppa Village projects. My parents did what they could for us and I am very grateful! 💕 Love Them!
Olivia, we share a common love for spring, pastels, moss, florals, lace, bunnies and birds. You are the closest You tuber to my styles. I loved the cutting in the book for secret hole. As soon as I find a book large enough I want to do cut holes for all three of our remotes. Then I am going to cover the book with sheet moss and lace and put it on our ottoman. I am so glad to have found your channel.
For the basket at the beginning you could pull out the handle and wrap it in the jute and then put it back. I think that would be a lot easier. Great ideas! Wish I was half as crafty as this!

Olivia, your floral arrangements are off this planet gorgeous!!! I have a GREAT deal of Christmas decor, so as soon as Halloween is over, that decor goes away and Christmas decor begins to get set up. That is my system for every change over!!!

Lace doily eggs look really great if you trace eggs leave quarter inch extra fabric... Hot glue edges.. Leave a hole to slip egg in after you turn inside out to hide any glue. Slip in egg.. Glue up the hole... The fit like a glove!

Hi, Olivia! What a sensational way to start my day! I have my coffee in hand and am snuggled up in my favorite chair. The Lord's blessings to you this fine day! I absolutely love the basket you made. (I am making comments as you go). It is so rustic, yet beautiful. You have not finished it yet though, so I might be wrong about the rustic. I hope I can get to DT this next week. I just have to get some things. I got 6 inch x 30 feet of lacy burlap for $13.99 on Amazon. I charged it, but that is OK since I budget for my monthly credit card bill payment...usually paying it off entirely. If I pay it twice a month my interest goes down. Now I need to get wreath frames. I found a deal on Amazon for those too, but am not sure about charging the cost. I will see toward the end of the month what I think. Anyway, I have chosen that my expenditure this month is to make a burlap wreath. A glam mesh one (smaller...12 inch) will go in my bathroom as soon as I get the mesh at DT. I hope they have narrower mesh than the four inches you used for the wreath with the nest and flower pots. Wasn't it 4 inches that you used? Yesterday on your live video you said something about filling an order incorrectly. Do you have an online store? Well, back to watching you, honey.! ................... We had very small Easter baskets when I was a kid. My folks did not have much money, so they could get by on less candy with the small baskets. We had the same baskets every year....unlike many kids (and even grown-ups) nowadays. My did hid the baskets in the house. We did not hunt for eggs, but rather for the baskets that already had real, boiled, colored eggs in them. My boys had larger baskets and more candy. I guess I wanted to make their baskets even more special. We did not get stuffed animals when I was a kid. I did not give the boys stuffed animals for Easter either. They had plenty of stuffed animals already. My boys hunted for eggs either in the house or out, depending on the weather. The years we did it outside required me getting up around 5 AM, but it was worth it. When indoors I could hide plastic eggs around the house the night before in the living room and kitchen. We told the boys that the Easter bunny would not come if they went out in the living room before morning. As far as I know not one of my boys ran into the Easter Bunny or Santa, for that matter.

Oh, by the way, that inspiration led me to take out my sewing machine, glue gun, tape measure, Fiskars, pipe cleaners and all the fabric I have on hand - to date (5 days) I have made 96 masks for our first res ponders. I am loving everything! This year both Spring & Easter have started out so glum. I’m trying desperately to wrap my head around what’s happening in our world without it consuming me. Tomorrow both my Adult Son & Daughter are going to be moving in temporarily to make sure I’m alright. I’m a Widow, almost 69 y o with MS/Multiple Sclerosis with other diagnosis along with being partially blind. Thank goodness I have a Craft Room totally overfilled with probably a years worth of supplies. I’m hoping to recreate these beautiful pieces you’ve shared. Love you work! Suggestion to attaching the clay pots to the wreath. Cut a small piece of dowel and twist the pipe cleaner onto to it, then push the pipe cleaners through they bottom of the pot and attach it to the wreath. This way you dont see the pipe cleaner.

Enjoyed this video, My grandaughter is 7 and she wanted to make a book with a cut out for a secret hiding place for some treasures. We just finished it. Love the idea of the ribbon and painting other books to stack with it. I might have to do that for myself. I do several different paper projects with books. Love folding them different ways and hanging on the wall in a grouping or setting on side tables. Verry inexpensive and relazing to do. Love your videos!

I am guessing that what I find at our Dollar Tree may be rather limited, since our Dollar Tree is very small. At least we have one!! That is a blessing. I just hope to find flowers to add to my burlap wreath. I want to make a few nests and am thrilled about your vase with the eggs in it. I have a vase that will work if I use smaller eggs.

I *LOVE* your style!!! OMG... I was really bad this year and I was able to take down my Christmas decorations on Valentine's Day weekend. I did keep out my smaller Christmas tree and decorated it for St. Patricks Day, then I will do a spring/Easter tree with my other decorations.
I made a spell book @ Halloween and made it a hideaway... I mod podged the outside of the pages together and used and exacto knife and it worked really well

The birds nest at 35 mins is adorable! The display at 49:10 made them even better.

Enjoyed this video, My grandaughter is 7 and she wanted to make a book with a cut out for a secret hiding place for some treasures. We just finished it. Love the idea of the ribbon and painting other books to stack with it. I might have to do that for myself. I do several different paper projects with books. Love folding them different ways and hanging on the wall in a grouping or setting on side tables. Verry inexpensive and relazing to do. Love your videos!

I am guessing that what I find at our Dollar Tree may be rather limited, since our Dollar Tree is very small. At least we have one!! That is a blessing. I just hope to find flowers to add to my burlap wreath. I want to make a few nests and am thrilled about your vase with the eggs in it. I have a vase that will work if I use smaller eggs.

It makes it a lot easier to find the one we are looking forI I know a lot of friends have been looking for that bunny card at Dollar Tree and can't find it. Walmart has some paper plates and napkins that has some darling bunnies on them. Not the same bunny but an adorable bunny. 😊

For the Easter basket, I would spray paint (or other type) it white first. Less show-through of bright colors.

I *LOVE* your style!!! OMG... I was really bad this year and I was able to take down my Christmas decorations on Valentine's Day weekend. I did keep out my smaller Christmas tree and decorated it for St. Patricks Day, then I will do a spring/Easter tree with my other decorations.

I made a spell book @ Halloween and made it a hideaway... I mod podged the outside of the pages together and used and exacto knife and it worked really well
