You can also go to flea markets and look through the old vintage black and white photographs of weddings, confirmations, graduations, baptisms, etc and decoupage onto a heart, or plaque etc
The flour sack dish towels from my grandmother's mid-century kitchen are ripped with use. Thank your for the idea of staining them and ripping them into strips for tassels and bows. It hurt to have them tossed into the rag pile, so now I can rescue them and make them beautiful. Lol. Every time I hear the term "flour sack," I remember the few pretty ones Mom made into dresses. I am grateful for the sack makers who added designs when they realized seamstresses didn't toss them but upcycled them. (Of course, back then, everyone upcycled but no one had ever heard that term.)
Hi Mary Ellen! So glad you got some ideas and I bet your grandmother's towels will work great. What a treasure! Thank you for dropping me a note and thanks so much.
Oh Teresa those hearts are just Beautiful. But those little mannequins are Absolutely Adorable. I love, love, Love them so much. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed evening and stay safe my dear and Special Friend. ⛄️💚⛸️
I want to go garage sale shopping with you. I have never ever seen anything like these at the garage sales I go to. I'd have better luck trying to buy the garage than I would finding neat stuff like you did. My mother was a clothing designer and had a manikin that was 6 months pregnant. Boy I wish I had it now .
Teresa that large wooden heart that you couldn't recall where you found it last year....the one that looks something like shiplap... I saw yesterday at a Dollar Tree I popped into. It was hanging with their large plain wooden hearts. I just ordered two beautiful decopage papers from your affiliate link. I got the one you used, as well as one with red roses, too. I can't wait to see them in person, and use them on the wooden hearts I found at that Dollar Tree yesterday.
Hey Teresa! Jill here! OMG!! Such cute ideas! I must get busy with my Valentines tree. Last year I made Plaster of Paris pink and red hearts for my tree. Used a heart mold that I got cheap at Bin Time. BTW!! I love your precious, southern voice. I'm a Georgia girl and sound so much like you. Many blessings!!!
Any way. I want to make everything that you make. When we finally get our house, my bedroom will look like you stepped into a time machine and went to the old French country side. I love it so much that my granddaughter has gotten to love it and is having a French country wedding.
I have recently been obsessed with decoupaging. It is DEFINITELY my new love...and so so easy to do...after seeing all of these beautiful projects that you do with printable and tissue/rice paper...I tried to no avail to share my granddaughter Lilli's Valentine box we just completed on here..but couldn't figure it out...Lilli painted the box and did most of the decoupaging on here..I just filled in and embellished....! IT WAS SO SO FUN...she had a BALL creating this...I LOVE that she inherited the crafting bug! I owe the inspiration to YOU, my favorite creator!...Love and hugs!
My goodness, I thought I was the only one who used a nail file as a sander, lol. My husband always says he's lucky to have a wife who would rather have power tools as a gift over jewelry. Same with using a nail file as a sander instead of on my nails, lol. Though, most of us love both jewelry and power tools.
Oh Teresa your hearts are so Adorable. I relly love the Dress form you did a lovely job on it. It turned out Absolutely Beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed evening and stay safe my dear and Special Friend. ❤❤❤
I love all of your beautiful romantic hearts, especially the decoupage heart with bow and tassel. I’m always inspired by your creations. PS I just saw on the news just today that Alabama was hit with a bad storm with a tornado and I hope you weren’t in its path and that you and Ben are safe.
Miss Teresa you have the most amazing imagination for creating such beautiful things and I love every single thing that you create I honestly don’t think that there’s even one that you’ve done that I don’t love and I thank you for sharing all of them with us sweet lady . You’re so very talented ! 💕👏💕👏💕
SO TALENTED 🪷💗🪷❤️🩹🪷❤️🩹LUV LUV LUV that MANNEQUIN & every HEART uv CREATED 🩰🩶🩰Perfect 4 spring🩷. I have 2 FORMS. I used a huge sheer curtain all tucked & whatnot to create a skirt. I luv the idea of CUTTING in strips!!!
I been watching your videos for a while and I just love your style I wish you could help me Style my home I used to be really good at it but my life got turned upside down last April when I found my 29 year old daughter I alive in her bed from heart failure!! Ever since I have been unable to get myself together and I love crafting painting refinishing furniture but my creativity seems to have left me! Two months ago I found out I have stage 4 kidney and heart failure one month later my husband was seen at the er and we found out he has stage 3 cancer. I’m not looking for anything by telling u this! Just PRAY FOR US! We are. Huge. Fans of yours! We have been married 30 years this July and we have always enjoyed doing all types of projects together!!!! My point in this message is to ask if you could share with me any projects that we could do together during his chemo or when I’m doing my dialysis to keep our minds in a loving and happy place 😍 thank you Betty Clayton
Teresa what beautiful, romantic DIYS. Your talent is limitless and you always amaze me with your creativity. TFS these beautiful inexpensive Valentine's Day ideas.
Hello Teresa. What can say… your ideas are so lovely and pretty. I love the color white and the rose. The mannequin inspired me to try to dress one. Thank you, thank you for sharing. ❤💕
Miss Theresa, As I've said before, I love your channel ❣️ If had the money, I would buy about everything in your Amazon store. You have wonderful taste in your choices in your store and your projects ❣️
I absolutely 💯 LOVE all of your creations. I love vintage also. You sound like Dolly Parton, sure you have been told that alot. Thank you for inspiring me with so many ideas. I have so many things to put into my soon to be retirement home.
The mannequins look beautiful. I love that you encourage using all of the decoupage paper by pointing out that once it’s on the project, no one will know it was a scrap of a larger paper. The proof of this is the small metal heart. That one caught my eye. The design looks as if it was made just for that project! That whole sheet of paper was gorgeous
Teresa. I love EVERYTHING (and I mean EVERYTHING) that you create! I must have that decoupage paper so I can create my own Valentines that look just like yours! 😁😁😁 Please let us know where you found it. I'm not seeing it on Amazon or Vintage Bee. Did I miss it?
Christie1231. Hi Teresa. As always, beautiful craft ideas, love your style and personality. I always enjoy watching you work and create such lovely items. Happy Healthy ande Blessed New Year. God's blessings to all.💞
