These are fire aesthetically!! I’m surprise they might be phasing out bounce though!!! Bounce cushion felt really good in all of the models that I had! Not just basketball models.
They only took it out because he’s a guard so people expected a lighter shoe and light strike is lighter which is what people wanted
Dame 8 will bring back bounce. They are branding it as pro bounce
yeah and chris was spot on on how comfortable the issue 2 was with the feet you wear. I always give props to players that keep their price point low like spida mitchell does...
Literally at the gym right now playing in my pair, absolutely love the traction and stability. Definitely picking up more colorways when the lightstrike starts to bottom out

I really love how they look, they kind of remind me of the old Gilbert Arenas sneakers with how minimal the adidas branding is. Can’t wait for a performance review 🤞🏽

The dame 4 is top 3 shoes to hoop in for me I love the bounce in them
the dame 5 was my favorite shoe to play pickup in.. still is up there.

I wish these videos had a summary report/review cards for the shoes, like some of the old articles
agreed with Mrs. Wing, it is indeed different yet still has the same flavor. I think it is a hard think to do to design with this type of mindset (as a designer)

I see several inspirations taken from Nike, but looks like a PG5 LA Drip brother.
Im going to cop a few pairs big jazz fan and I play a ton of basketball I also got them on release day did tske a little while but I scored 34 points and 8 3's in them.
I have the tiger stripe bel air version and I get compliments everywhere I go!! And they great for hoopin!!!

I tried the black & white colorway: solid and translucent rubber are "inverted". Traction is mediocre, slide a lot on hardwood court. Very disappointing performance.
I also have the black and white colorway and had the exact same experience. Tried them once on a hardwood court, I was sliding every time I tried to make a hard cut.. they were so comfortable and clean looking too! Very disappointing
The sort of comic fx elements are the only things I can think of to tie up all 3 in the DON line so far. Agree with Chris's sentiments 100% re: the looks. 1 was great, 2 was an easy pass, and now 3 looks great.
First t hing that comes to mind is Rug Rats cartoon when I see the shoe.

I hoop in the Marvel edition don 2 and I love'em. No complaints. Cushion on them is great. Might hv to cop the don 3's. Great review as always
If you don't like these you can always take a look at his second line. They just came out with the Trae 1's.

These are actually kinda dope, I wasn't a fan of the first two models in the line, but I actually like these. The problem that you have with adidas is one that I've never had, but I have heard other people describe the same issues, I guess that I've been lucky with adidas. Anyway, cool pickup, I may need to take a closer look at these. Thanks for the info. Keep doing what you do!

The issue 2's were quite possibly the clunckiest shoe Ive ever tried on with that big heel thing. I hope Adidas figures their stuff out soon and can be consistent

I really like the evolution (aesthetically and technologically) of Don's signature line!
The only difference in 11k size the inside is a skyblue that goes into a dark blue salmon or pink in adult size
The Venom colorway is dope.

I liked the 2’s a lot but they weren’t very breathable. My feet got hot quick in them. The 3’s are growing on me though.

would anyone be able to tell em about the traction on these? the pair I'm looking at have a solid rubber and no translucent, but I've seen different reviews some saying it's got good bite others saying it sucks
Chris only was able to use his outdoors and they worked fine there. We’re unsure about indoor.

Man I never realized how behind shoe stores are in Monterey county. I’ve been wanting to try them on in person but can’t find em! Finna ask my lady to get me these for my birthday. I only play outside so I don’t see myself hooping in these cus I’ll burn the fuck out that sole in a week.
