Acryltechniken kombinieren Nr 24 Combining acrylic techniques

  • Diesmal "male" ich unter anderem mit einem Baby-Vliestuch, um einen etwas lebendigeren Untergrund zu erzielen. Es kommen wieder mehrere Techniken zum Einsatz - dennoch ist das Bild einfach zu realisieren. Und - auf vielfachen Wunsch - streckenweise etwas langsamer.
    This time I use a baby-wipe to create a lively background. There are some more techniques, I use. This painting is not complicated to do.

    This painting is magnificent! Despite the overlays of the cool white and grey, it remains vibrant! I can make out shapes that stretch the imagination as to what they could be. Watching you paint this, it's as if you were revealing things that were already there! Thank you for sharing your work!

    Yet another beautiful painting and informative tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing. Vielen dank! If I may ask a question? Several of your videos mention transparent colors. Here in the US there are very, very few transparent acrylics. Are you mixing the colors or are they already transparent? Thanks for reading and I understand if you don't have time to answer.

    • @GerdaLipski
      @GerdaLipski  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are some pigments that are naturally transparent, which are usually more chemically produced. But you can also dilute each color by adding acrylic binder or medium so that it looks transparent

    Magical, stunning, and what an inspiration you got! Thanks for sharing so much....but really,
    I´m becoming confused...as a good laborious student I try to inspire myself from your work (with dubious results!), but it´s nice trying....but what is a non-absorbent acrylic filler? And (everybody´s going to laugh) wich type of plastic wrap do you use? Because I´ve tried many, and nothing works...Higly indiscreet, but have you got a reference? It´s very frustrating never to get your nice forms...But, it´s up to you, master, secrets of the trade? With my permanent respect and admiration...Danke fur alles!

    • @Plantgarden88
      @Plantgarden88 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there!! I’m not going to speak for Gerda, just give my two cents worth.Your comment asking: “you got a reference?” made me chuckle.
      As an artist, you know that art like this can not de duplicated. Even Gerda could do the exact same process and colors and get something completely different. And what she makes look easy and free flowing IS to HER, because it flows from within. She does not ‘paint’ a picture but allows it to evolve. Filler/plastic wrap? It’s all texture. I suggest you go back and watch more of her videos, then rather than try to duplicate, let it flow from within you. AND Gerda has had years to get the feeling and let it flow.

    • @MsLopsided
      @MsLopsided 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, dear Mimi, I know...But i´m stubborn to the nthhhhhhhhh degree, and really I´ve tried a lot of plastics: not good for the planet, no good for me. I don´t try to duplicate Gerda's work, I try to do my my own little thing, but with techniques I find inspiring. I must add I´m schoolish because I´m not a painter, but a portraitist in pastel. So, i´m really lost with acrylics, and I feel nothing flowing at all!....portrait is my true field, (wanted to do it in oils, problem here) but really I admire Gerda´s work, and I´d like to get better results, just to be a little pleased. But I understand very well what you mean....and take it in good part. Gerda could do a wonder with a toothbrush between her feet!!!! She´s the artist, I´m not....Kiss, Mimi!

      Thank you, Mimi.

    • @MsLopsided
      @MsLopsided 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Finally, I think my question was not technically so stupid...How do you get 3 structures when the plastic wrap doesn´t make prints, or neat prints? Eh?

    • @GerdaLipski
      @GerdaLipski  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello MsLopsided, I tried to answer your question yesterday, but I think I forgot to press the "answer" button at least. So I do it again: I used a soft modelling paste, which is preety sleek, (the opposite of pumice gel) My plastic wrap is an garbage bag, the plastic is not stiff and sucks tight to the wet surface

    hallo gerda. mit der zeit haben sich bei mir viele arbeiten acryl auf aquarellpapier angesammelt. da ich nicht viel platz habe, lege ich die arbeiten lose übereinander zum aufbewahren. leider klebt oft die acrylfarbschicht mit der rückseite des darüberliegenden bildes zusammen und wenn ich die arbeiten vorsichtig auseinanderziehe löst sich farbe ab. mit binderschichten ist es noch schlimmer, die kleben richtig. das Übereinanderlegen erfolgt natürlich nur im absolut trockenen zustand, trotzdem gibt es diesen klebeeffekt. hast du einen tipp? Wie lagerst du deine Arbeiten? Liebe Grüße. Christiane aus Düsseldorf

    • @GerdaLipski
      @GerdaLipski  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Das Kleben verringert sich, wenn die Bilder kühl lagern, was nicht immer möglich ist. Ansonsten besser Wachspapier (oder Backpapier) dazwischen legen.
