Thank you so much for doing this tutorial as I really didn’t know what to do from start to finish.

Hi Bobbi, thanks for another fun episode. I’m thinking about frogging one of my half and half shawls. It was nice to see how the linen quill responded to your process. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice weekend. ❤️🧶

oh, how i wish i’d gotten to your video sooner - i started a scrap yarn afghan with fingering that i’d frogged from something or other, and it just looks awful. instead of nicely marled, it looks muddy. but i’m halfway, and i refuse to frog it. i’m hoping it’ll right itself at least a little bit after it’s washed, but i’m not holding my breath. so thank you so much for all of my future scrappy afghans, which will look great! 🧶☀️

Hi Jane. I know what you mean. Color can be tricky sometimes. I ripped back a large part of my blanket after I realized some colors just didn’t look good next to each other. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. Have a great day! 😊❤️

Thanks, Bobbi! I’m off to try this on some merino silk yarn I want to repurpose.

I know, I’m already looking at past knits and trying to decide if they need frogged so I can repurpose the lovely yarn they’re knit with. I find it very satisfying to rip out an unworn project knowing I can turn it into something beautiful. Thank you for watching and commenting! 😊

I wind my salvaged yarn on my swift and put the ball in a bowl so it stays put and I can really crank that swift quickly. Hang to dry with a 1-2 hangers to weight or pull it down as it dries.
