How on earth is anyone sending you hate comments?!! You are LITERALLY saving lives and offering a hand up and chance at a fresh beginning. You and your sponsors are caring people that deserve all the praise in the world! What you just did for this little girl makes me cry. You gave her a life back and I hope her mother embraces it to the fullest!

Unfortunately, there are some people who are just angry/hateful. I think it's this idea of tearing others down instead of lifting yourself up. The more successful a person becomes the more likely a person is to encounter such.

Some people have very high expectations of others. Unfortunately with hate, it’s not helpful and makes us question our own intentions. Auri has such a sunny personality, she’s able to see that she’s doing the right thing, and doing the best she can. Like she said in the video, when she receives positive comments, it’s keeps her going, so let’s continue to lift her up!

The mental affects of living with pests like this is actually huge and not talked about much. Thank you for pointing out how it even gave you nightmares and is not healthy. As someone who lived in an infested home for a long time, I can't even explain how damaging it is. It is like it can give you PTSD. I love bugs and animals but I developed a phobia of roaches. The nightmares and the feeling like they are crawling on you is very real. Besides the fear it is even a physical sensation, that can almost drive you mad.. so yeah. This is really hard for me to watch, but it is almost comforting in a way, seeing it all get cleaned up and "fixed", sort of feels healing. Thank you for the videos Auri.

The fact that the toilet wasn’t clogged or anything was wildly unexpected!!! I can’t imagine just choosing not to flush when the toilet is perfectly functional… I’m so glad this family had your help. I really hope the mom gets the help she needs ❤

    • @NathanaelTak
      @NathanaelTak 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +67

Hahah, I'm sure it was clogged at first. Probably got clogged, then filled up with stuff, and at that point, flushing would just flood and make a mess. Meanwhile underneath, the paper and whatnot breaks down in the water and might have been flushable for a long time. Nine times out of ten, a stuck drain will sort itself out with a little time (toilet, not sink).

@@gringa978 maybe big clean would be more accurate! I do things like wipe down the trim and clean out the fridge once a month or so now and I didn’t do things like that before. I suffer with depression and anxiety myself. However, this apartment has me terrified for the daughter. No child should be living in these conditions. I really hope that the mom does all the things she says she is going to do such as getting new beds, a new couch and a new fridge. If she doesn’t, her daughter should be placed with someone who will actually take care of her properly. So very sad 😢

Me too! I'm so proud of you. Despite negative, which I don't understand, comments you just giggle. This has to be one of the ways that giving is better than receiving, yet, you still want the absolute best for your recipient's. What a great person you are! I've had a roach infestation and decades later, still feel panicked if I see one, anywhere near my or someone else's home or car.
Also, I cleaned in a place that had a roach infestation and my car git infested with them ( from taking a dark, closed dustpan with me) So eventually I wouldn't take anything except myself for fear of bringing "little friends" home with me. I took an open dust pan on a stick, cleaning cloths,a broom and mop with bucket. I left them there so that I could make sure that no one got in my car. When I finally left that job, I left all the supplies as a parting gift.😂😊❤

I once lived in an apartment complex that had a roach problem. Nowhere near this extreme, yet I still had/have dreams that have them crawling around, turning a dream into a nightmare. I feel so deeply for anyone living in these conditions.
I've lived in SE US 30 of my 31 years, so unfortunately am very familiar with wood roaches. And while I agree with you about them being more scared of us than we are of them, I still would eliminate as many as I could, especially in an infested environment. Most importantly for the hygienic/sanitary reasons and stopping the spread of infestation. But also because, as many as you see with your eyes, there are most likely hundreds-thousands that you don't/haven't seen. It's utterly terrifying....
You are SOOOOO WONDERFUL to not only do these deep cleans, but also do them for free!!! Katariina, you are truly a beautiful and selfless soul; please don't ever stop being who you are! 💜

Of course I know that there will always be haters but it makes me so upset because she is so sweet and caring of people before she even meets them. She doesn’t judge the homeowners and instead tries her hardest to help them get better. Personally, I love her channel because I have suffered from depression my whole life. People who have not gone through it have a hard time understanding how a person’s space could get to this stage but that’s how overwhelming the disease can be. You do such a beautiful job and are so kind and upbeat. I had a cleaning business for over 20 years and I know how much work you are doing and how difficult this work is...although my jobs weren't quite as bad as yours. I also know how good it makes you feel when you are done. People always used to ask me how i could do this work as it was stinky, dirty, messy, etc. I always told them I loved the transformation...the before and after. I came to the home or business and it was dirty and left it sparkling. It was exhilarating...and unlike at home with all my kids, when i was finished cleaning I actually had to watch it get dirty again!

OMG! I waited for this last video regarding that filthy, cockroach-filled apartment for about two weeks, and it did not disappoint! Thank you so much for posting, Auri! The apartment looked so much better when you and your brother were done! GREAT JOB!
I have a hard time understanding how anyone could be critical of what you are doing. It is such a blessing for the people you help, and honestly, watching your videos is very entertaining for those of us who love to clean.
Although I myself keep a pretty clean home, I had an aunt who lived the way your clients do, and watching you clean is a vicarious thrill for me. I think the biggest prerequisite for anyone who lets you come in to clean is a willingness to let you throw some things away, and my aunt would never let me touch a thing, so afraid was she that I might throw away something important. And by the way, she had cockroaches, too, although not nearly as many as you found in that apartment in Florida.
After she died at the age of nearly 98, one of my brothers and his wife went in to clean (I was living far from my aunt by the time she died), and they filled dumpster after dumpster. Then my brother ended up in the hospital with sepsis, a blood infection, for two weeks and nearly died. I know in my heart that he got so sick because of the exposure to dust and mold in that filthy place! Thank goodness he recovered, but everyone in my family was scared for him. PLEASE WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES when you are cleaning these homes! I don't want to see you get sick, too!
Anyway, again, keep up the good work and know that there are many people like me, who are watching what you do with great respect and appreciation!

You are so amazing. Hopefully people are getting the help that they need for their Mental health so that they can have a beautiful home to come home to. Like you had said it really is bad for your mental health having a dirty house and having nightmares about the cockroaches. I'm not here to judge anyone because I too have struggled with my mental health. Mental health is a huge problem and it doesn't matter if your rich or poor, mental health can happen to anyone. You are literally changing people's lives by doing what you are doing. You said you're not an angel you're just a cleaner but you truly are an angel. You are giving people another chance to succeed in life. I might be biased because I live in the United States but I like you doing homes here in the United States because they are bigger. Again nobody should judge anyone. Yes in this home there's a 13-year-old girl which is sad but nobody knows the mental struggle that the mother has had to go through in her life. Obviously she has gone through something because she let her house get so dirty. Again nobody should be leaving nasty comments about the homeowner or the Apartment renter because nobody knows their actual struggle in life we should just be happy that they are getting a second chance to get back on track at least with their home life and hopefully that helps them in all aspects of their life

I'm telling myself that a cleanup won't solve everything but it gives her some peace. And now she knows there are adults who can help. The cleaning also allows people to come into the house to fix things, deliver new furniture, and exterminate the bugs (hopefully the mother or another adult takes that chance to help). Let's hope for the best.
