That photo of the Iranian female students in 1971 shows how backward Iran has gone. Shows what despot dictatorship does to a countries progression, or in this case, regression.
Regression is popular in countries such as USA nowadays. It change from racism against non whites to racism against whites now. And just because a woman cannot dress up like a sl*t doesnt mean its backwards. Wearing burkha doesnt make her less of a woman. In fact it makes her more valuable woman who respects her roots, religion and tradition
you should also know that these girls actually belonged to super rich families ,even before Islamic revolution in Iran ,most of the population was conservative.
However ,they're not now.
So these photos comparison are just bs propoganda.
Today Iranian people are more liberal ,but before they were conservatve and almost every women wore Burqas at *that time*
That's what American joyriding across the world meddling in other countries affairs does to the world.

@@earledaniels4539 I think your a bit uneducated on history, these countries became like this because the US intervened with them and caused more havoc. If you go south in the middle east countries still treat men and woman with high rights and humbly. Iran and Afghanistan are now lunatics because of political leaders convincing people western culture is ruining them so they went as far backwards as possible. Had US not intervened, none of that BS would happen

That picture of the street vendor in NYC at 4:00 from 1945 looks like it could have been photographed yesterday..clear as a bell. Perhaps colorized?

Apparently, he thought remembering lines and doing rehearsals reduced the spontaneity of the scenes.
So even when he was younger he never remembered them, having them written down all over the set.

Iranians were free once @ 0:49 , until their right wing conservatives came along in 1979 under Khomeini and destroyed that country--setting them back 1000 years. Iran and Afghanistan are good examples of what happens when you let right wing conservatism go unchecked.

I think there own term is Inuit, i read somewhere that Eskimo is translated as "FishEater"
