Nice one mate! Fair play. Not sure how my last lap was so quick compared to the rest 😂 the engine in the bike on vid is stock apart from a flowed cylinder head, had nothing but trouble from supersport spec engines 🥹

I use a fair bit of front brake mate aye. Just like trail braking really. Obviously in the wet got to reduce the pressure though

@@TommyFielding Thanks. I need to be braver as I slow too much in to there using the rear staying off the front. I’ll try again using the front but build up to it. Thanks

@@BenVarley74 no worries mate. Is your rear brake finger/thumb? I have mine on finger and foot now. I use it subconsciously but never use it without the front unless it’s for wheelie chairs r trying to turn bike more mid corner

⁠@@TommyFieldingit’s a forefinger rear and I don’t have the foot connected as I have no control with it.

@@BenVarley74 yeah fair play, i’m kind of the same. Only put the footbrake back on as my left hand was getting fatigued with how much I need to use it controlling the wheelie! 😂

Do you mean into the last corner? Left hander? It’s a tricky corner as all of the braking is done with the bike lent over, got to trail brake and use as much front brake as you dare 😂

@@TommyFielding yep the last left. Thanx for the advice, i'll practice it next time, have to admit that i'm only just getting the hang of breaking while at lean, 👍

Hi, software is called Racerender. You need some form of data input, I use my GPS laptimer

What would you recommend for us track day novices to get a rough idea as we aren't allowed to time laps and I have no mates🤣

Sorry I don’t know what gearing to run a 636. Try the gearing commander website and work it back based on top speed. Then go from there :)

@@TommyFielding yes mate I had to put a baffle from a 600 ninja in my 911 blade, road legal pipe and lost a few HP so I've ordered an Akra baffle in the hope it won't affect the bike as much next time

@@cabbage681 it’s a pain in the arse but we gota do it if we want TD’s to stay. End up with 3ft long silencers 😅

Just get yourself out in the novice group, take it easy and enjoy yourself. Good your doing some research here though so you actually know what way the track goes.

I’m much too old 😀 just doing it for fun really. Even when I tried BSS it was a lot more serious, need a bigger team of people around you and a hell of a lot more money. It’s just unattainable really, happy doing what I am doing though :)
