I lived in St. Lucia for 6 months in 1997. My uncle John Thomas and Lena Thomas owned a Mexican restaurant across from Sandals Halcyon. I can’t believe the number of new buildings since I was there. I lived at the Bagshaws cut in a place which is now called “Wild Serenity”. I miss St Lucia.

Very enjoyable trip. My wife and I were residents in the marina from ‘01 to ‘04. It’s sad on a way to see the growth of hotels and homes but then this is what is called progress. I imagine Bequia is turning into a ‘St Thomas’ also. I wonder if the people of St Lucia are pleased with the urbanization of their beautiful island.
