I've read Aron Niemzowisch' My System, and Chess Praxis and it brought my understanding to a higher level. Niemzowitsch has alway been an inspiration. Never knew his father Schaya was also a player, and apparently a pretty good one! Thank You 🙏 Mato
I actually spotted the clever move when you suggested pausing! I guess I'm learning something here. :) I can see why this game would have delighted the magician from Riga.
1899 ! Super stuff, the old Muzio Gambit. Was I really just a teenager then ? No I wasn’t. But I do love a King's gambit game with such a brilliant coup. As always, Mato, thank you for this treasure from your jewellery box. 😊
I had to go back and check the board to see why he sac'ed the queen first. Removing the defender with a check to force the issue and keep tempo. Sneaky sneaky.
Romantic era chess is refreshing to see once in a while. You will rarely see the King's Gambit anymore unless its blitz.
My whole family was amazed. "Here comes David" - this is why we watch Mato.
Thank you Mato. Really you are the best chess analyst in the world... I got interest in chess because of you... We love you Mato❤️❤️❤️❤️
Do u see the move queen check f5? I found it. I think knight c7 check is the key move!!
Nc7 is the key move.. There are another 2 variations.. That's also winning for white but this one is the best
????????

Getting checkmate by a pawn is really something else.
Watched this twice and still shake my head, WHAT A GAME.

Fantastic game!
Excellent lecture as always, Mato! Thanks for your work from the USA.
Wooow😮😮! Bravo 👏👏👏👏
I didn't see that mate. It's so surprising and beautiful!
Very nice tactics Mato
Thanks to you matojelic. I dominat most high level games, almost like alekhine, but not that precise, or fancy.
Great video Mato. Love your analysis but if you could show deeper into some of the lines that would be good.
Amazing game!!!
Brilliant
wuauuu amazing game
Romantic attack!
Wow. I expected the pawn push or queen to that white square but notice the knight protected both square. I dont realize the queen sac is the solution
I was looking at Bd6+. But I guess black plays Ke8 and is hanging on.
Epic game i found that move , very nice
That was lovely 🥰
Dankie Mato
What a game!
just wow!
saw that Queen sacrifice, what a game
Like an arrow straight trough the heart. I like it
That is a great little drama. As a 850 player I saw the queen move too. But not the ploy. So I guess I really did blunder.😮😊
brilliant
Checko Mato

❤
I am now officially a king's gambit player
Niemzowitsch sacrificed the queen as a deflection 😂
Anything important happen to you in 1899?
Nothing 😑.
That was Edward, not David XD
"Pause the video, and what would you do?"
Nimzowich was not joiking when he sacrificed his queen.
The winner of this game was the father of the great Aron Nimzowitsch.
I am the first viewer
You have got a Lamborghini for the first viewer
@@uiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii You too.. You will get Racer bike for this comment😁😁😁
*151st!*
WOWWW !
Please don't use matojellys videos
I can easily see why that game would have inspired Mikhail Tal!
This is the worse way to lose, is by being check Mated by a Pawn ♟️. Thanks for the videos nakama, friend Shalom.
