I want to give you a shout out. For 5 years once a month for treatment in the hospital. My crochet went with me. But Chrystal it was all your patterns. For how ever many people complain how many of us you give new life to crocheting again. Until you came in my life granny squares was all I made.
@@Pam-tx5zd Yes. The medicine they were giving me was something I didn’t need because I didn’t have CIDP. FIVE YEARS OF TRAVEL AND EXPENSES FOR Something I never had. Unreal.
@lindabacas2164 wow, that's crazy. And I thought them treating me for 6 months for something I didn't have was bad :/ glad you're OK at least! And you found Crystal to help you through!! ❤
Use the “sc1, ch1” moss stitch for crochet. Use a slightly smaller hook that makes a tighter fabric. It creates a slightly different but very satisfactory fair isle effect like pooling does without all the hassle.
@@cherb_soco1891 I have never made anything using all slip stitch. Interesting. Seems like it would use a huge amount of yarn and take forever. I think it would be worth trying though. Maybe a scarf or a cowl.
I gave up on fair isle yarn years ago, when I realized it was never going to look like the picture, when crocheting. I have no knitting knowledge at all! 😂 thanks, Crystal it looks lovely knit up. 🧶💚
Thanks for the review. Lovely colors. I guess you could use either all sc or moss stitch and make 10-12” wide strips and crochet together for a blanket????
Wow….it worked up beautifully on your knitting machine. Love the pattern of the yarn and the colors you chose Crystal!! Thanks for the review….your honesty is always appreciated!! Have a great weekend! 😊🧶🦋
Hi Crystal love your channel. Started watching it on TV so much better. My husband says dont you have enough wool in the house now you want to watch it as well.
I'm using my addi machine to make hats and scarves to donate to local schools for kids that need them on cold winter days here in north central West Virginia I'll have to get some and try it thanks crystal
Crystal, thank you for explaining what fair isle is! I've heard if it, but didn't know what it meant! It turned out pretty on your knitting machine. Thanks for the educational review!
Gorgeous yarn and it worked up so beautifully for you on the knitting machine. Thank you for your review. I love seeing how yarn works up. Have a wonderful day Chrystal.
Wow! For someone who doesn't know how to knit, they look great. I don't have a knitting machine, and would be clueless how to do fair isle pattern. I can do Fishermans sweaters which I did in the 80's, but not anymore. I'm sure Crystal you could easily learn how to knit with needles, as your skill with a crochet hook is amazing.
Thx for the review of this yarn! I bought something similar that premier made awhile back but it was much thinner. Tunisian crochet works with the self-patterning yarn, just fyi! Thx, Crystal! 😊👍🧶
Knitter here... I love fair isle yarns for hats, scarves, and wristwarmers. It always turns out beautiful without a lot of effort. Thanks for your review.
Thank you Crytal, for all your generosity, due to the time you give tutorials - I knit very well, and I can Crochet, sadly that only started and stopped at the Vintage stitch. So I really want to learn all the new patterns to give my work a fresh look. If people don't thank you for your time, and generosity then that's just disappointing. You’re the only one that does tutorials with three or four rows - not a few stitches and turning the camera off and people like myself are left guessing. Thank you again. Tracey Australia. ❤❤❤❤ Also, you and your husband are just too dam cute. Stay healthy - sending you lots of love and light...
Thank you for your review I am going to buy 1 ball and see if it will work with my Cobblestone Hat pattern. Thank you again for all you do.💚💛💙💜🧡❤️🧡💜💙💛💚
Thanks so much for taking the time out to work these things up and show us! Those turned out sooo awesome with the fair isle! 😊that is mind blowing to me that you were it n the yarn is dyed to make a pattern! Like.... wow, it's too much fer my feeble little brain! Crystal your videos are the best! God bless ya. Thanks for all your tutorials, like the others say, when I'm in a slump, you help me want to crochet again! Have a great day!
Hi Crystal. I love how honest you are in your reviews. Since I can only crochet and I don't have a knitting machine I will have to pass on buying the yarn but they do have beautiful design to it. Thank you for this review m
Crystal, the beanies you did with the Fair Isle are beautiful!!❤ it! When I get a chance, I’ll try an crochet something up with it in maybe a half double crochet, as I hate doing single crochet. Hat and scarf set!
Hi Crystal! Thank you for your honest review. The yarn looks really pretty and it is beautiful when it's knitted. I don't think it would work as well if it was used for a crochet project either. Have a great week! God bless you!
Another very honest review Crystal. You have given people the best opinion to try it or not to try it. It's lovely yarn to have if you think of a suitable project. Have a fantastic Monday and stay safe ❤
Oh wow, I didn’t know they had these! I agree with you that these may need to be used with knitted projects instead of crochet. You always find yarns that are new to me. Love your videos. I’ve been watching for years, and they never get old.
As a knitter I would love to try this yarn! You always find the best yarns! Where I live the retailers don't even come close see the selection you show when you go yarn exploring! Thanks for the review!🐾🐾
That came out Beautifully!! I have to get some soon. Thank you Crystal! I want to make some hats and infinity scarves on my Sentro with it. Gorgeousness!! ❤😊
Thanks for this review. I really like the mustard one and it’s patterning. I don’t know if their the exact patterns but they look different to me. I haven’t really tried the smaller wool eases but I love the 6 and 7 weights. Hope you’re having a good day. ❤❤❤

I am planning on knitting a hat and scarf set for my kiddos. I wonder if the fair isle would work with Bosnian crochet. I am going to try it

Wow, I really love how that fair-isle yarn worked up!!! I knit more than I actually crochet so I will definitely get this yarn for hats and scarves this winter.
Well, it *DEFINITELY* is interesting!!! I probably wouldn't crochet with it either. Interested in seeing the result of that. It does look lovely done on your knitting machine though! Thanks for the review!! :D Have a great week!
Love this yarn got a haul of it last week.Thank you for the great review on this beautiful yarn. Love your scarf. Beautiful work on the knitting machine.
Thank you for the review! Pretty yarn haul! I would use my hand looms for knitting hats and scarves.i will try this out in my September yarn haul!😅 I'm broke for the summer 😂
I was like # 100! ❤ Usually I don't care about such things, but it was so satisfying changing that number from 99 to 100. Also, I'm currently working with Wool Ease Thick and Quick. Would love to try this!
It is pretty! I can’t know either so not sure if would buy it! I do have knitting machines, so could buy for that. But as you said I would wash by hand. God Bless. Take care. Love you. 🙏😇♥️
Hi Crystal. If it was cheaper I'd use it to crochet with because it is pretty yarn and I don't knit. Of course I'd use it knowing I won't get the fair isle look but that's ok. Thanks for your review. Take care.
Can you put together a my favorite soft yarns from Walmart, the brands that Walmart offers and or from stores that you can go to and review the brands and state your favs out of them? Yes! A knit stitch. It's flat and does make a pattern
Do you think just using all slip stitch would work? It looks like knitted fabric when I've done hats with it.
@@cherb_soco1891 I have never made anything using all slip stitch. Interesting. Seems like it would use a huge amount of yarn and take forever. I think it would be worth trying though. Maybe a scarf or a cowl.
yes so much more effective or the waistcoat stitch 🤔
@tmtb80 I've made hats, scarves and cows using all slip stitch. It really doesn't take any more yarn than using SC. 😉

Hi Crystal... thanks for this review. Ya, I would knit with it, a hat or something like that and I think it looks cool. Thanks for the review.

That wo4ked up beautifully! I sort of like the halo it got wwhen washed & dried. Thanks for your excellent reviews, Crystal.😊

Hey Crystal. I love your reviews. When I first started I only used Red Heart. Now I know there is a whole big yarn selection out there.
I love to knit, too, so I will try this new yarn and knit a hat with it first! Thanks. Crystal, for your review.
