I just love Skymasters. I bought a 1969 "minor project" almost a year ago. Turned into more than expected but not bad. Just getting ready to make the first flight. Thanks for sharing this ferry flight.
Love Skymasters. Years ago in another lifetime we had one in for service at an FBO I worked at. Our instructor had just gotten his twin rating but had never flown a Skymaster so since it needed a test flight and the owner wasn’t a pilot. We had to do it. I was a private pilot with a few hrs in a twin Aztec. so I read up on the Skymaster grabbed the instructor. And away we went. 2 young guys living out our “Bat 21” fantasy’s. The poor old girl really got put thru her paces with lots of low level and plenty of steep turns and dives. One of the more fun times he and I got up to. 😂😂
A big HELLO from CYQT. 👍🇨🇦👍 THANK YOU for sharing this little adventure. Skymaster are so cool, so unique. The other " UNIQUE" twin I LOVE is the Piaggio P136 Royal Gull Amphibian. Gull wing twin pusher. I would LOVE to fly the Skymaster and the P136.
Great video, great stuff. Love the Skymaster. I've only ever right seated in the 337 but the smooth drivers will spend 5-10sec to sync the props before takeoff preventing most of that loud racket from the two props being out of sync. Never seen them touch the props after that initial sync.
Apologies being an RC pilot pitching in here but I have been daydreaming about this aircraft as my next up project to build and fly some time soon. Your footage will help me scale my plane livery and cockpit detail. Looking to replicate this exact color scheme. Congrats on a well executed and enjoyed flight!
I hate the substitution of music for the beautiful engine sound. The engines should be heard even during comms to make it realistic. The best parts of flying are the view and the engine sound.
Thanks for watching! 🎉

That’s awesome!
The "Mixmaster" is such a unique airplane, I've always loved them. Never had a chance to fly one, but had to taxi one once.
Hey taxiing is still cool!

Nice , the 337 is one of my fav airplanes . have a few hrs in it , but hope to fly it again some day
Nice!
Many moons ago I ferried a C337 from Miami OK to Sothern Ontario Canada. Loved flying the plane...
My father ferried one from Reims to Salisbury in what was then Rhodesia, along with a number of other RhAF pilots, during the bush war in the 70’s.

Very nice love night landing.

Why is there excessive movement in the tail boom?
I want one!

PS blue skies from KPWK
I really want to buy one of these
Would be so much better and easier to watch without the annoying background music
Thanks for your super kind feedback. Very helpful!
That's true for nearly every TH-cam video.
Exclamation mark? Really?
