Received my Goldtop from this series last week - extremely pleased, Wanted to leave a big positive comment for Tom from sales for being a great help with my questions and to Jesse for responding so quickly when i had an “after delivery” question. The resonance is great and the HBs sound great, and im surprised with how well they split. Very pleased customer, i hope to find a reason to buy from you again! - M.
I was 100% sure that I preferred the 58/15's, but you actually convinced me that I like the 85/15's at least as much! The chime on the 85/15's doesn't show up in the 58/15's until you split them. Obviously...... I need both! 🤠
Just now came across your channel! Bought a CE24 Standard from you 4 years ago and you were right when you said ‘you’re gonna love this guitar’. I did switch out the 85/15 for 59/09 and briefly even had the Metals in it. Oh, and the trem went for a MannMade.
@@Silkaz7 I found the 85/15 too trebly and sizzly. Like when you add too much presence on an amp. But could have just been the way they worked with my amp back then, which wasn’t a great one at that point. I find 59/09 more balanced and growly. Has the \m/ without covers in between as well but while the neck was nice, the bridge was just too full sounding on clean for me. Like a 500T.
