The Dragon Platebody is definitely an item you should not consider buying. In most cases the fighter torso, a Barrows item or tbh proselyte armour will be the better setup. Costing over 2 mil its just not worth using it :) RSN Nocyllis
I used dragon plate (except the helmet and shield ofc) as soon as I hit 60, picked up slayer helmet and now im at 82 attack 76 str 75 def. Imo it’s worth it for the defence if you have the legs and boots because I’d just use str pots. I did cast it away to my bank after I hit about 70 prayer. it’s cheaper for me to make money for pots rather than buy 60 mill worth of gear, even in the long run if it isn’t I’m at least leveling while I do other things.

The only one I don't fully agree with is acb. It has a longer range than any other crossbow, other than zcb, and is really nice for sara godwars or budget inferno.
It is literally better than DHCB. Theres like 3 dragons in the entire game where the niche effect makes it the winner. 2 specs and increase likelihood of bolts effect is hands down better.

Massively disagree with the Rapier not being useful for slayer. Run some DPS calculations, for low defence slayer monsters, Rapier DPS is waaaay better.
I think he's implying you should be using a fang for slayer which makes no sense. Dark beasts? Sure but nobody is killing low defense gargs with a fang lmao. 100% support rapier, literally the best strength trainer once you can use it.
You don't really have any consistency when it comes to your gear guides. In the gear progression guide you recommend buying a master wand before even getting an occult necklace...then in this guide you say it's "absolutely not a good idea to get them" when referring to any of the MTA wands...

I'm so glad I got through acerbic defender when it was like 20 million. I'll say I do agree with some of your thoughts especially now with the new updates to the game. If you do have some of the older gear like arma don't go rushing off to sell it. I'd hold onto it until you can afford the updates.
You could probably make an argument for all dragon armor, but specifically the Kite and Full Helm because they are insanely expensive for no reason other than being rare. Full helm is just super rare and Kite comes from Adamant Dragons which nobody kills. RSN: RTJ4
Another great video! I am really enjoying all the different types of progression guides you've been putting out as it helps me plan things out better. Instead of just deciding what skill to level next or what content to do, I can think about how to progress my gear / tools for content AND when to move onto new content AND how to map my skill growth around it. One thing I would ask - If you can try not to abbreviate item names? Especially when you say them - I only just barely know what a "Nezzy helm" is. I imagine many people on their gear progression journey do not recognize the name off-hand. I understand abbreviating it in the text on-screen so you can keep it brief and organized - if you can remember to say the full name of the item I think that would help :D Otherwise you could provide a reference list to the items you talk about in the video but I fully recognize that would be a significant time + effort investment so I don't think it's near as reasonable of an ask.
i've also found a brimstone ring is good value for mid level accounts that dont have enough points to imbue the archer/berserker ring. I think it gives the same stats as all the regular DK rings combined
I’ve used a fighter torso for a few months until I got to a stage where I make good money daily, then I bought bcp for defence which makes slayer and some bossing much better. Still got the torso at bank for master clues 🤷♂️
This is great, just got 147m back in useless items I had in my bank. Do you have any up-to-date progression guides I can look at? I want to know whether to prioritize things like BIS rings or pushing for another weapon, etc
It's interesting that you didn't mention the Dragon equipment such as Dragon Full Helm, Dragon Platebody, Dragon Platelegs, and Dragon Chainbody, as they offer no offensive bonuses and are worse than dirt cheap barrows equipment which offers significantly better defensive bonuses. There's also a ton of other noobtrap gear items like the Abyssal Dagger, which is strictly worse than the Dragon Dagger in every scenario except against high defense enemies, in which case you'd want a different special attack entirely, it is quite literally not used anywhere except Vasa in COX. Another awful item from Sire is the Abyssal Bludgeon. It was decent for strength training, but now it's only real use is as a budget crush weapon for Nightmare, which is a boss that nobody actually does.
@@MaxiemumKarnage Fang is just as good at gargs, fang & arclight are better at cerb, nobody does water fiends, and the Keris partisan is always BIS for melee KQ and it costs 0 GP.
The d plate, full helm and kiteshield I understand, but what's wrong with d chain and legs? They're both dirt cheap. There's no reason not to use them at 60 defense.

Why not just get dhcb, use that to make money and then sell dhcb for bowfa + crystal set instead though? They're around the same price, but one of them allows you to make money quite fast in places like Vork, brutal blacks and cox.
bruh acb has an additional tile of range over the dragon crossbow. that is the most important part of the item which you completely left out, making it a viable budget weapon for zuk before tbow or bowfa+crystal. you cannot hit the jad on the far side of the shield rotation without a 10 tile range weapon. "deserves to be thrown in the trash" is just an uninformed take. you gotta remember items have specific uses and evaluating them on general usefulness is pretty much pointless. one single strong use case for any item is enough reason to buy it if you're doing that content, and just resell it when you're done. acb has two. zuk like i mentioned and when doing solo zilyana 0 damage taken kiting method the dcb must be set to long range while the ACB can do it on rapid. this is a far shot from "avoid like the plague"
I feel like Archer's Ring is good for Vorkath until you get your DHL and gear to melee him instead, since RoS and lightbearer (unless you're using BP) doesn't work as well on him. Other than that, yeah I can't think of an honest reason to use it until you're able to get venator.
ba has a dedicated group that speeds thru very fast and they are super welcoming to learners. Torso only takes 1-2 hours with normal teammates. I havent had leavers very often
your recent video suggests using the Saradomin sword for strength training, but this one says to completely avoid it. Did something change with prices, or its usefulness or something?
Idk but at 180-200k per sara sword it's not that expensive to charge, compared to something like the abby bludgeon it's a lot cheaper and you're often going to get an extra max because of the superior strength bonus

Another thing which is rlly amazing rn is that u can buy the blood moon armor which has the same str bonus as bcp and tasset but just way less defensive stats. Even lower than a torso but atleast u dont need to do BA xD
A lot of these boil down to just ‘Don’t buy cosmetics because they’re expensive and don’t help your account.’ If that’s your point, then just say it. Don’t tell people not to buy enchanted robes and then fail to mention all the other cosmetic alternative items like trimmed armour, god armour, trimmed wizard robes, etc.

The item that I find the most useless of them all is gp. People think they can buy anything with it (right?) but you can actually focus on goals and grind every single worth item in the game, no matter how long does it take because what is really important are the friends we do along the way. Im gonna disagree with the rapier if you are training melee on monsters with no defense stats. Fang performs way better against defense because of it’s passive effect, but with no defense your dps is higher with a rapier because it’s a 4 tick weapon

I was planning to buy Armadyl first, then once I can afford Masori, dismantle the Armadyl to make Masori (f), but he convinced me to just go buy Masori first given Armadyl's lack of Ranged strength
the only reason to buy a master wand, is if you are bursting; and you don't want to spend the price for a kodai wand. The negative prayer bonus on the ancient staff and scepter makes them not ideal.
I had justicar, its useless for slayer because you can wear verac's, a fang and a dragonfire shield and have more dps, and prayer, and defense, than full justicar with the bis weapon of the game. Against krill, zamorak, its better have a slayer task and wear range armour. Only usefull with a dinh bullwark setup and some niche stuff that nodoby does regularly.

You get 1 extra prayer using veracs vs justi which when you have a bonus of 20+ is nothing, especially considering the extra food you’ll have to eat wearing veracs armour over justiciar
@@CaptnBeeBop dude, pls, justicar is only worth with the full set, that cost 53 million right now, you loose all the boost from a slayer helmet with full set, and wearing the top and bottom alone is like wearing armadyl in slayer. Food is cheap, you have better options to tank in prayer and def as i said, with verac or proselyte, and the fang is so accurate on slayer that you can ditch your dragon defender for a dragonfire shield (if you dont have a avernic) and have more dps and defense, like 98% accuracy vs 97.5% There will be a new proselite armor with the def stats of verac and more prayer tha proselyte, but everyone is guessing that the tankness of justicar will be usefull there in the waves. Thats my opinion right now, but i liked in the past, maybe it will change again. When i liked, every piece cost less than 10 milion, so it was not 100k in the grave every time you die for each part and instead was 10k, thats the problem of justicar for me, too many expensive pieces.

I love and agree with most of your videos but this one is kinda trash to be honest... Also full Armadyl is not useless... you can wear it at level 70 ranged and it's needed to fortify masori just like you said. Also this video is a little outdated so I'll give you a pass on the Rapier because you are correct before the fang was nerfed the rapier is definitely a worthy investment now imo especially if you're a NMZ warrior it will save you about 6 hours from 90-99 attack/strength/defense and can be used at lvl 80 as apposed to 82 on top of it being better at a lot of bosses because it's a 4 tick while the fang is a 5. They're both very good weapons though! Just don't get an archer ring? are you crazy man?? Venator ring is 64m while archers is 4m... and you can imbue it basically for free... I still love you and all your videos but this one was definitely a miss.
Acb is 100% worth it if you plan to spend any time at muspah and can't afford a zcb the ability to spec twice with boosted bolt proc accuracy is huge for the smite phase unless you perfect skipping the shield altogether, also Wands attack a whole tick speed faster than staves when auto casting, it's the difference between a dragon scim and a dragon long, wands are undoubtedly better than their staff counterparts and that's the reason their price is so much higher lmao and all wands can autocast ancients, enchanted has literally identical stats to mystic as well so it's really just about not wearing the same mystic robes everyone else has lmao
Do you think the avernic defender is really worth the 97m upgrade…? For me it gives a little bit more stats, but honestly if it was 60m, I’d buy it. I just think it’s too expensive for what it is.
i got mine at 80m for wildy bosses because it's a 4% dps increase. but honestly not too useful. there are some scenarios where it will give you a max hit atleast, but definitely not worth the 100m before most things
RSN: GSW 30 CURRY Spirit shields used to be solid content… are they now dead? I mean you got buckler and others now that high levels use. Don’t see too many spirit shield refs for high level equipment when bossing and such. Maybe I’m just a noob
3rd age pickaxe is objectively worse than a dragon pickaxe because it cannot be upgraded into either crystal or infernal varieties. It costs literally a thousand times as much.

Heavy on the archers ring. Last time I used it was probably years ago for a slayer task or something before ring of the gods or lightbearer. I remember thinking it was so good back in the day but damn that ring is such noob bait and I fell for it hard.
The main one I disagree with on here is the rapier. Fang is a piece of garbage on most low def stuff, particularly for slayer. Calling it an upgrade over the rapier shows a lack of understanding of the purposes of these items. As someone who is going for max but not doing pvm, rapier is far more useful to me than fang.

Netzi Faceguard when Serp is so affordable, has better defense and protects from poison and venom. If you're doing switches though then it can make sense since it doesn't have the negative range and magic bonus. Plus with the netzi, you're not going to use it at all during slayer. Also, primordial Boots. Only +1 str bonus over the much much much cheaper dragon boots, and has minimal attack bonus. I would buy them likely last and for me, its a toss up between that and a BCP and I've actually been sitting on cash because I just can't decide and neither really seem worth it yet lol. So normally I wouldn’t make a comment just to disagree with a point, but the difference in DPS between the DCB and the ACB is actually insane. It shaved almost an entire minute of my Vorkath kill time
look at the boss/content you want to do, do you need to survive or do you need dps? its not always a case of both or even either! some boses its best for dps, some its its best to outlast their dps to drop dps on them.
also depends on skill level..... take you own skill level and skill into account. kbd is easy for many, but some need that armour buff to last a 10kc trip etc.
I think the Tokyz-xil-ul and the Toktz-mej-tal is the coolest dead piece of content for Ranged/Magic respectfully. Sitting at 500gp more than a rune arrow, and 300k more than a trident of the seas, it is no wonder that people skip over them instantly, hell I bet you didn't even know what I was talking about until I said Ranged and Magic. just a psa but the ring of shadows has the same base line stat as the archer ring and it has a pray bonus as well. while you probably would have surpassed the need for it by the time you do the quest its still a fantastic ring otherwise.
If you can tolerate Barbarian Assault, go get a fighter torso there, then pair it up with obsidian platelegs. They both have strength bonus, which is what you want to prioritize for your armor. If you don't want to bother with Barbarian Assault (like I did), go for obsidian platebody instead Your next upgrade after that would be Bandos chestplate and Bandos tassets at 65 Defence, but they are much more expensive (30M and 20M respectively), so might be a while until you can get them
Can we please stop acting like BA is a bad minigame? Every content creator latches onto the meme that BA is bad but its really not. Its a legitimately enjoyable minigame that is actually engaging, and its also one of the *few* parts of this **mmo** that actually requires that you work with other players. I know that its mostly a joke to say that BA is bad but when *everyone* keeps saying its bad content it puts newer players off from actually going and getting their Fighter Torso.
I will say ancient "sceptre" really stopped the need for mains to grab a master wand. B4 sceptre existed id say its still worth it as its ur bis acients autocast and even if it only saved a few seconds every boss kc that adds up in the long run. Now that sceptre exists it is kinda meh.
Good list but how are you going to spend a few minutes arguing the Archer's Ring as a never buy (a +8 range attack boost) but say Pegasians are a wait (a +5 range boost over God dhide). You're way better off with Devout Boots for a +5 prayer for a fraction of the price. Both Archers Ring and Pegasions should be a never buy
Decent advice but enchanted was a bit of a reach just to hit 15 for a title. Theres like a 40k difference in mystic and that set which is effectively nothing. That's like telling someone to not recolour their crystal or graceful.
I think dragon plate body is super overrated for the cost and stats you get. Even though it's cool I just don't think it's worth it. RSN: Choking Fear Great vid as always!
I would add a caviot to all of these by saying if you are playing the game efficiently you should be able to buy buys a stuff with minimal effort. I never struggled to get any of this and i just did slayer eithout killing most bosses excluding jad and cave kraken
Primordial boots, hardly a dps increase over dragon boots which cost a fraction of the price less is insane, 4 str bonus vs 5, and only +2 accuracy which is negligable. for 30m, you can get a torture, obsidian legs and ferocious gloves which still costs less than prims, and offers you much more bang for your buck. osrs/rsn Autoswitched
Any halberds. You’re much better off training range and safe spotting with those or using other strength training melee weapons for higher dps RSN: Cree Empire
Here's an overrated item that might be a tad bit controversial - a dragon hunter crossbow. Most of the content you use the crossbow on such as Vorkath or Brutal Black Dragons can be easily done with lance or fang nowadays, and often even better in terms of DPS.
I would personally argue Brimstone ring is also a semi-useless or overrated item. Especially if you're a Chad who already has completed DT2 where you can buy the Ring of Shadows for 75K, which gives almost the exact same stats. The passive on the Brimstone can be nice, but it's not the most reliable thing. RSN Daemon Rayge
brimstone ring has +2 str over ring of shadows, as well as a better passive for magic accuracy. it's also only 2.6m, but really only useful in like cox.
Anyone that is able to afford 3rd age will obviously know that they are not real useful outside fashion. Plus I should go inform Oda that Kaoz said to not buy 3rd age for any reason for any point.
RSN Abasi Amun The most useless items in the game to me aren't traditionally buyable. One is the inclusion of every type of fire arrow just for the one obstacle in Underground Pass that have literally no other use. And yes when I was young I DID make over a thousand adamant fire arrows to use in the wilderness. The second is the megarare item the battleship which is only buyable if you are buying accounts. People have spent thousands of real, actual dollars rwting for these status accounts just to have them instantly banned.
It's so funny how hard the Ghrazi Rapier got powercreeped. At least with other items it serves a niche use or is something you can naturally get through progression, but nobody is grinding normal TOB before TOA. Actually useless now. RSN: FunnyAndEpic

Don't do BA, read all the comments saying BA isn't worth the rage. Just buy obsidian if you really need an extra +1 to your hit

I'm so glad I got through acerbic defender when it was like 20 million. I'll say I do agree with some of your thoughts especially now with the new updates to the game. If you do have some of the older gear like arma don't go rushing off to sell it. I'd hold onto it until you can afford the updates.
You could probably make an argument for all dragon armor, but specifically the Kite and Full Helm because they are insanely expensive for no reason other than being rare. Full helm is just super rare and Kite comes from Adamant Dragons which nobody kills.

Another great video! I am really enjoying all the different types of progression guides you've been putting out as it helps me plan things out better. Instead of just deciding what skill to level next or what content to do, I can think about how to progress my gear / tools for content AND when to move onto new content AND how to map my skill growth around it.
One thing I would ask - If you can try not to abbreviate item names? Especially when you say them - I only just barely know what a "Nezzy helm" is. I imagine many people on their gear progression journey do not recognize the name off-hand. I understand abbreviating it in the text on-screen so you can keep it brief and organized - if you can remember to say the full name of the item I think that would help :D
Otherwise you could provide a reference list to the items you talk about in the video but I fully recognize that would be a significant time + effort investment so I don't think it's near as reasonable of an ask.
Yeah, I totally agree. I'm a maxed RS3 player switching to OSRS and I have no idea what most of these items are if they weren't in RS3.
i've also found a brimstone ring is good value for mid level accounts that dont have enough points to imbue the archer/berserker ring. I think it gives the same stats as all the regular DK rings combined

I’ve used a fighter torso for a few months until I got to a stage where I make good money daily, then I bought bcp for defence which makes slayer and some bossing much better. Still got the torso at bank for master clues 🤷♂️

you can also bring a tome of water for bursting/barraging and get a damage bonus plus infinite water runes.

It's interesting that you didn't mention the Dragon equipment such as Dragon Full Helm, Dragon Platebody, Dragon Platelegs, and Dragon Chainbody, as they offer no offensive bonuses and are worse than dirt cheap barrows equipment which offers significantly better defensive bonuses.
There's also a ton of other noobtrap gear items like the Abyssal Dagger, which is strictly worse than the Dragon Dagger in every scenario except against high defense enemies, in which case you'd want a different special attack entirely, it is quite literally not used anywhere except Vasa in COX.
Another awful item from Sire is the Abyssal Bludgeon. It was decent for strength training, but now it's only real use is as a budget crush weapon for Nightmare, which is a boss that nobody actually does.
Bludgeon is great for slayer tasks like gargs, cerb, and waterfiends as well as KQ. Tf are you saying?

Why not just get dhcb, use that to make money and then sell dhcb for bowfa + crystal set instead though? They're around the same price, but one of them allows you to make money quite fast in places like Vork, brutal blacks and cox.
bruh acb has an additional tile of range over the dragon crossbow. that is the most important part of the item which you completely left out, making it a viable budget weapon for zuk before tbow or bowfa+crystal. you cannot hit the jad on the far side of the shield rotation without a 10 tile range weapon. "deserves to be thrown in the trash" is just an uninformed take. you gotta remember items have specific uses and evaluating them on general usefulness is pretty much pointless. one single strong use case for any item is enough reason to buy it if you're doing that content, and just resell it when you're done. acb has two. zuk like i mentioned and when doing solo zilyana 0 damage taken kiting method the dcb must be set to long range while the ACB can do it on rapid. this is a far shot from "avoid like the plague"
I feel like Archer's Ring is good for Vorkath until you get your DHL and gear to melee him instead, since RoS and lightbearer (unless you're using BP) doesn't work as well on him. Other than that, yeah I can't think of an honest reason to use it until you're able to get venator.

Useless item: Amy's Saw. Just use the Imcando hammer with a basic saw as it is much easier to get and you have to use a hammer with a saw anyway.

Imcando also has uses in other areas, such as smithing. It also won’t get washed away during Tempoross either.

Dragon Crossbow has been amazing help with doing Dragon Slayer and Vorkath at just 80 range. That +4 range is massive for high def enemies

Idk but at 180-200k per sara sword it's not that expensive to charge, compared to something like the abby bludgeon it's a lot cheaper and you're often going to get an extra max because of the superior strength bonus

A lot of these boil down to just ‘Don’t buy cosmetics because they’re expensive and don’t help your account.’ If that’s your point, then just say it. Don’t tell people not to buy enchanted robes and then fail to mention all the other cosmetic alternative items like trimmed armour, god armour, trimmed wizard robes, etc.

Im gonna disagree with the rapier if you are training melee on monsters with no defense stats. Fang performs way better against defense because of it’s passive effect, but with no defense your dps is higher with a rapier because it’s a 4 tick weapon

the only reason to buy a master wand, is if you are bursting; and you don't want to spend the price for a kodai wand. The negative prayer bonus on the ancient staff and scepter makes them not ideal.

Every time I’m looking for mage gear on a new account and decide on mystics, I buy the gloves by accident. A combat bracelet is just strictly better.
Bandos armor makes your max hit increase by +1…. But justiciar and save TONS of money on p pots and food instead
I had justicar, its useless for slayer because you can wear verac's, a fang and a dragonfire shield and have more dps, and prayer, and defense, than full justicar with the bis weapon of the game. Against krill, zamorak, its better have a slayer task and wear range armour.
Only usefull with a dinh bullwark setup and some niche stuff that nodoby does regularly.

Food is cheap, you have better options to tank in prayer and def as i said, with verac or proselyte, and the fang is so accurate on slayer that you can ditch your dragon defender for a dragonfire shield (if you dont have a avernic) and have more dps and defense, like 98% accuracy vs 97.5%
There will be a new proselite armor with the def stats of verac and more prayer tha proselyte, but everyone is guessing that the tankness of justicar will be usefull there in the waves.
Thats my opinion right now, but i liked in the past, maybe it will change again. When i liked, every piece cost less than 10 milion, so it was not 100k in the grave every time you die for each part and instead was 10k, thats the problem of justicar for me, too many expensive pieces.

I love and agree with most of your videos but this one is kinda trash to be honest... Also full Armadyl is not useless... you can wear it at level 70 ranged and it's needed to fortify masori just like you said. Also this video is a little outdated so I'll give you a pass on the Rapier because you are correct before the fang was nerfed the rapier is definitely a worthy investment now imo especially if you're a NMZ warrior it will save you about 6 hours from 90-99 attack/strength/defense and can be used at lvl 80 as apposed to 82 on top of it being better at a lot of bosses because it's a 4 tick while the fang is a 5. They're both very good weapons though! Just don't get an archer ring? are you crazy man?? Venator ring is 64m while archers is 4m... and you can imbue it basically for free... I still love you and all your videos but this one was definitely a miss.
Acb is 100% worth it if you plan to spend any time at muspah and can't afford a zcb the ability to spec twice with boosted bolt proc accuracy is huge for the smite phase unless you perfect skipping the shield altogether, also Wands attack a whole tick speed faster than staves when auto casting, it's the difference between a dragon scim and a dragon long, wands are undoubtedly better than their staff counterparts and that's the reason their price is so much higher lmao and all wands can autocast ancients, enchanted has literally identical stats to mystic as well so it's really just about not wearing the same mystic robes everyone else has lmao

The main one I disagree with on here is the rapier. Fang is a piece of garbage on most low def stuff, particularly for slayer. Calling it an upgrade over the rapier shows a lack of understanding of the purposes of these items. As someone who is going for max but not doing pvm, rapier is far more useful to me than fang.

Netzi Faceguard when Serp is so affordable, has better defense and protects from poison and venom. If you're doing switches though then it can make sense since it doesn't have the negative range and magic bonus. Plus with the netzi, you're not going to use it at all during slayer. Also, primordial Boots. Only +1 str bonus over the much much much cheaper dragon boots, and has minimal attack bonus. I would buy them likely last and for me, its a toss up between that and a BCP and I've actually been sitting on cash because I just can't decide and neither really seem worth it yet lol.

So normally I wouldn’t make a comment just to disagree with a point, but the difference in DPS between the DCB and the ACB is actually insane. It shaved almost an entire minute of my Vorkath kill time
look at the boss/content you want to do, do you need to survive or do you need dps? its not always a case of both or even either! some boses its best for dps, some its its best to outlast their dps to drop dps on them.
also depends on skill level..... take you own skill level and skill into account. kbd is easy for many, but some need that armour buff to last a 10kc trip etc.
basically what im saying is weapons n armour mean nothing if the skill cap aint there. the bis doesnt mean youre going to beat it.

just a psa but the ring of shadows has the same base line stat as the archer ring and it has a pray bonus as well. while you probably would have surpassed the need for it by the time you do the quest its still a fantastic ring otherwise.

If you can tolerate Barbarian Assault, go get a fighter torso there, then pair it up with obsidian platelegs. They both have strength bonus, which is what you want to prioritize for your armor. If you don't want to bother with Barbarian Assault (like I did), go for obsidian platebody instead
Your next upgrade after that would be Bandos chestplate and Bandos tassets at 65 Defence, but they are much more expensive (30M and 20M respectively), so might be a while until you can get them

Can we please stop acting like BA is a bad minigame? Every content creator latches onto the meme that BA is bad but its really not. Its a legitimately enjoyable minigame that is actually engaging, and its also one of the *few* parts of this **mmo** that actually requires that you work with other players. I will say ancient "sceptre" really stopped the need for mains to grab a master wand. B4 sceptre existed id say its still worth it as its ur bis acients autocast and even if it only saved a few seconds every boss kc that adds up in the long run. Now that sceptre exists it is kinda meh.
Good list but how are you going to spend a few minutes arguing the Archer's Ring as a never buy (a +8 range attack boost) but say Pegasians are a wait (a +5 range boost over God dhide). You're way better off with Devout Boots for a +5 prayer for a fraction of the price. Both Archers Ring and Pegasions should be a never buy

Decent advice but enchanted was a bit of a reach just to hit 15 for a title. Theres like a 40k difference in mystic and that set which is effectively nothing. That's like telling someone to not recolour their crystal or graceful.
I think dragon plate body is super overrated for the cost and stats you get. Even though it's cool I just don't think it's worth it.

Here's an overrated item that might be a tad bit controversial - a dragon hunter crossbow. Most of the content you use the crossbow on such as Vorkath or Brutal Black Dragons can be easily done with lance or fang nowadays, and often even better in terms of DPS.

I would personally argue Brimstone ring is also a semi-useless or overrated item. Especially if you're a Chad who already has completed DT2 where you can buy the Ring of Shadows for 75K, which gives almost the exact same stats. The passive on the Brimstone can be nice, but it's not the most reliable thing.

brimstone ring has +2 str over ring of shadows, as well as a better passive for magic accuracy. it's also only 2.6m, but really only useful in like cox.
I think prims belong on the list of items that don't need priority, otherwise some very sound advice.

The most useless items in the game to me aren't traditionally buyable. One is the inclusion of every type of fire arrow just for the one obstacle in Underground Pass that have literally no other use. And yes when I was young I DID make over a thousand adamant fire arrows to use in the wilderness.
The second is the megarare item the battleship which is only buyable if you are buying accounts. People have spent thousands of real, actual dollars rwting for these status accounts just to have them instantly banned.
It's so funny how hard the Ghrazi Rapier got powercreeped. At least with other items it serves a niche use or is something you can naturally get through progression, but nobody is grinding normal TOB before TOA. Actually useless now. RSN: FunnyAndEpic
