Silent abyss released still no hezdon Edit: I might start putting little updates here, eeshol palace development has been accelerated Second update: Gamma has confirmed Lost River has the palace, Eeshols palace is apparently the massive pyramid in the lobby Third update: ok so Halloween released (yay) and still no eeshol but I’m hoping it happens soon Fourth update: haven’t been here in a hot minute but the eeshol palace is half way done :D Fifth update: ok so ashen Towerworks released today and uhh biotech genesis still doesn’t exist
i didn't even realize thank you for letting me know LOL, i heard hezdon was being moved back to lost river actually... might make a part 2 when more subrealms are released
Ive lost a lot of interest in this game for this exact reason, I loved the idea of the guardians originally. I knew it was gonna delay TFS for at least a few years but damn, with the current speed of development, it seems like its going to be another few years before we even get to that point. It really sucks and its really not worthwhile to put effort into sub areas just to make the final product more challenging to work towards. I have to defeat like 6 bosses before I can even open the gates to TFS or however it works!? It's effort im not willing to put in as a player. I just don't see whats the end product or goal is if subrealms are the main priority right now. (I would also like to point out how it's not entirely the devs fault for the speed of development, balancing personal life with game development with a large community behind it is already challenging, so I do commend them for their work!)
This entire guardian system is such a joke, just start developing the final stretch theres no need for all this subrealm shit which makes the Rings themselves look really bad compared to the subrealms how tf does that make sense Do jtoh devs have any sense of quality control?
If it were just four subrealms with one Guardian each, that'd be fine, but the developers are bloating up the amount of content they insist on releasing before TFS/UPA that no one seems to be interested in. Why does each Guardian need more than one subrealm right now? Why are there extra requirements like the Soda Slayer and Shadows of Laurum? Can't some of this just be like a World 1 postgame or something? It's been two years since all of this was announced and it's probably going to be many, many more until we see that Obelisk. Now hearing that they want to do new subrealms for Rings 3 and 7 too, all of this just seems like a waste of time. Then they try to justify it with some out-of-nowhere lore reason that didn't really have any bearing on the game until after Ring 9 had already released. As for the Ring qualities, they're noticeably older but I don't think any of them are actually that ugly (except maybe Zone 1).
@@actinion6334 i feel the only reason theyre making this much subrealms is probably due to the hellishly high amount of towers they have to add since theyre in the whitelist
@@SomeRobIoxDude That's very fair. I'm not against whitelisted subrealms happening; I just don't think it's the best move to place all of them in World 1 this quickly. One of these subrealms ought to go to World 2 to smooth over the push to 100 towers for Zone 10. At the time of writing, there are ~74 tower points that're Challenging and below. Adding in the ~4 more from Zone 9's estimated slots, the 7 required Intenses and the 3 required Rems; you're still ~12 points short of Zone 10. You can smooth those Points over with the Citadels, but you're going to have to take a dive into the Intenses in order to reach Zone 10 right now. World 2 could make great use of another subrealm if added before Zone 10. (I only suggest this because of how intent they are on finishing World 2 amidst this World 1 mess.) I've heard on the Discord that another Zone 3 subrealm could happen because Pit of Misery isn't canon, and that would be great for a whitelisted subrealm. That's early 2020 and could be just like the upcoming Ring 6 subrealm. I'm also not opposed to contest subrealms happening either, but it looks like Eeshol, Hezdon, and Loistava are all going in one. It doesn't seem imperative to me to do whitelist subrealms in World 1 (at least before Zone 10 or TFS/UPA) if they're not connected to the reason why subrealms are largely being placed in World 1 right now. Sure, there might be a lore reason, but I don't find that substantial.

they could just make the subrealms in world 3, its sad that theyre literally better than the actual rings
guardians are the only unique thing to this game that fangames wouldn’t bother of because of some weird obbyist agenda
