Have owned two of the Remington Smart Beard Trimmers The first one broke down after only six months. The second one didn't work RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX!! Remington? Never again!
Funny, mine just broke two days ago. The head no longer clips on properly, and a bit of plastic just broke off from inside. Honestly, it wasn't a great trimmer. It felt too heavy, and was kind of noisy.
I had that wahl trimmer, I paid $70 for it and it does not cut at all. I removed the blade and put a viberator sticker on it and donated to goodwell.😅😅😅
I really wish people would stop buying stuff off of Amazon- unless they're looking for some specialized or rare item that just isn't available elsewhere. We know Amazon has put SO MANY stores out of business, they treat their employees like shit, their warehouses have like a 250% yearly turnover rate, they're actively replacing people with robots, they don't pay people an adequate wage which forces people to rely on welfare for survival- which essentially amounts to free taxpayer dollars delivered straight to Jeff Bezos's pocket, Bezos is an absolute POS. Like, seriously, how many reasons does one need to stop giving money to a company like that? Especially when there are countless other options. Because they offer shipping that might be a day or two faster than the other option? Seriously, *EVERYONE* should stop transacting with Amazon- it's TV & selling crap online right now, but eventually, it'll be renting from Amazon, buying all of your food from Amazon, your car & clothes will be made by Amazon and it'll ALL be shit.
The video is all put together from promotional videos - he obviously haven't tried any of these... No youtuber would miss the opportunity to make own footage if they had the products... Nonetheless, is you can look past being blatantly lied to, this video is okay for having a quick overview of brands, types and specs.
@@BobRoss-wm3lc I bought the BabyBliss Pro FX3 trimmer- my review is... meh. It's surprisingly heavy- I was expecting it to be fairly light, but it's a dense little package. I've only used it once or twice so far and have yet to adjust the blade. From the factory, it doesn't shave as close as I was expecting- it's about the same as a 00000 Oster blade, which really is just fine if you're going to hit it with a BIC when you're finished trimming, assuming you want a 0-hair finished product. Supposedly, you can adjust the blade enough to where you don't need to BIC it when you're done, but doing so comes with the added risk of opening your skin up- I'll find out eventually. The tips of the blade (at least, on mine, & I assume they'll all be like this) are not as smooth/polished over as I would like- it sometimes feels like the little blade fingers are trying to dig in and catch the skin. I mention this because it's cutting about the same length as the Oster 00000 blade, but the Oster blades I've used have always gone over the skin with 0 hang-ups; the BabyBliss Pro blade isn't as smooth as the Oster. The blade is also very thin steel and gives the impression it's very inexpensively made, though it does cut perfectly well. Some other things I don't like, it didn't come with a blade cover for storage, any kind of case, or any guards- the trimmer I bought came with the trimmer, a little brush, micro screwdriver for blade adjustment, charger, and small tube of oil. Even though it didn't come with any guards, I did expect a snap-on blade cover to prevent damage while not being used. This is the only trimmer I've ever had so I don't have anything to compare it to- this review is based solely on my impression and merits of the trimmer itself and I think there is a fair bit of room for improvement, but it is nice and quiet, it does cut very well, makes shaving my dome a breeze without digging out the clippers and dealing with the cord, so the convenience is quite nice. Once I get it tuned up the way I want, maybe try polishing the blade fingers a bit, and get some guards for it, I think I will be very happy with it. Even now, if you're looking for just a trimmer, I would recommend it, but there are probably better options available. I paid $130 + tax & shipping; kinda pricey for what you get, but it's not toooo bad. Anyway, hope this helps.
The Braun one is ridiculous, it's poorly made, I've owned it 3 months and the multiple length head keeps detaching or slipping when being uses. The comb part is too flexible so you get inconsistent results, I'm going to be ordering the first Philips one to use instead.
Please, what is the best machine for beard and trimming? Philips Norilco MG7750/49 Or Wahl 9818 Lithium Ion Stainless Steel ? Or is there another option better than these options?
I just want one that doesn’t constantly clog at the ball joint. All my Phillips Norelco’s I’ve owned despite having high reviews only lasted me about a year before the ball joint stopped working.
Do not get the remington, its not actually waterproof so i broke it, it also doesnt feel like the blades are sharp and takes forever to cut your beard. I have the Philips bt9000 now and its nice
Weird how NONE of all these youtube videos show how the trimmers deal with the mustache. I need a trimmer that cuts mustache just as effortless as the videos show the beards are shaven.

I ONLY use a straight razor on the sack- it's the only way to get SUPER close & the sheer danger forces you to pay attention the entire time.

Pretty sure if it can handle a beard which is bigger and thicker you can kind of figure it out that’ll it’ll do the same for a mustache……
We used to trim our beards with rocks sharpened down at the old mill stream.
