      Yes, but Jesus surrendered to death. He was not stronger. In the light of no shadows you can die to every moment, always rising

    • @theplacebeyondthelies2429
      @theplacebeyondthelies2429 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Jesus didn't take strength or pride in death whatsoever... that's a very false interpretation of this sacrifice... it was a demonstration of how evil this manmade world truly is, for everyone to see, crucifying an innocent man who came to the poor and sick, sat with them and healed them whilst the evil ones who claim to be holy sit in their temples and talk down to the people from their wealthy seats, and then deny God in His very sight and crucify Him! That's a hell of a world we live in. Open your eyes! It was a revelation of who the evil ones truly are in this world, it was a gift of heaven called discernment between whats truly good (God) or evil (devil)! And many of you follow and idolize the evil ones as we speak and let them have power over you and your families despite Jesus' timeless self giving sacrifice!

    • @X0ying0X
      @X0ying0X ปีที่แล้ว +23

      @theplacebeyondthelies2429 yes but through his sacrifice was he not made strong? Did he not claim victory over death. The quote did not say he was prideful or boastful in this. It just stated the fact that through Christ Jesus, death was defeated.

    • @theplacebeyondthelies2429
      @theplacebeyondthelies2429 ปีที่แล้ว

      God IS life, there is nothing to be "stronger than"... life isn't stronger than death, nor is death stronger than life... people need to overcome their own earthly feelings such as the fear of death... as Jesus said: you are what overcomes you! this doesn't mean jumping from skyscrapers and expecting to stay alive.. this means telling the truth, using the sword of the spirit, still being wise in action, even if or until evil people on earth may come to kill the body on earth to stay in power on earth@@X0ying0X that's the true message, the crucifixion is a demonstration of the evil in this world on one side, and on the other side it represents the glory of Go(o)d! And it's the spirit that marches/lives on in each of us who believes in God and sees the glory! Crucifixion is a very sad and brutal thing, there is nothing to take pride in that makes you carry cross necklaces around your necks before your chests! It's called "chest" as in treasure chest! Because it's in the heart! Not what you wear before it! And so if people feel the need to carry wooden crosses about for everyone to see, they aren't truly in the heart what they represent to the public, an image that they create so to make others believe they are when they're not! And the whole catholic organization works in these pagan ways! Again, God sees your heart! Noone needs to prove it to the people, in fact, your actions will prove it, not the idol symbols you cling to! And if people say well I can be both in the heart and wear those symbols they are deceivers just as much! Because they deceive people into believing they need to do the same: carry wooden crosses around their necks... there is nothing you need to add to your body if the spirit is truly righteous! Your confidence shall come from the spirit, not from carved idols and wearing women's cloaks, drinking from golden cups and the list goes on!

      be careful with this.. it pleases the eyes more than the ears.. there are a few false subtle statements while mixing scripture with nice sounding interpretations... scripture isn't something to be freely interpreted... scripture is used for reproof and study word for word. Stay close to the word and you will know the truth. And the truth shall set you free! Not because you feely interpreted the words but you clearly understood them as they are. Every parable of Jesus is carefully chosen. Every word has a reason. Adding more words, as interpretations and new age translations often do, leads to a lot of misunderstandings and false claims, some say it's the d(evil) twisting the word of Go(o)d.

      I don't know if I could do what they did. Wasn't it custom in the OT that the worship singers would go out first in battle before the army? I think I would start going flat when the arrows started flying out at me! Maybe I got it wrong here. Can you give a little clarification on this? Thanks, Len PS I also think of the freedom and abandonment in their worship singing. Miriam beating her tambourine and doing a little Tina Turner for the crowd. They really just let it out!

    I just want to say thank you. I'm trying to reignite my faith in God. A part of me knows he is the truth and the way. I used to be a dedicated follower and have now fallen for the evils of sin. But with resources like this and my own determination, I know I can find my place with God again. Please pray for me and others struggling in faith. Life is futile and meaningless without God and living in despondence is not the way God had wanted us to live or indulge in simple pleasures. He wants us to cherish his commandments, the gifts, and his son who rose from the dead: Jesus Christ

      @@BENJAMINJAMESSMITH2000 They say most astronomers believe in an intelligent designer. I would encourage you to start studying the stars, the movements of the moon and sun-- how it all coordinates with all the planets, where everything is perfectly balanced. We need 4 seasons in order to have food, for example--a time for seeds to germinate, a time to grow, a time to bear fruit for harvesting, and a time to die so that the seed falls again to the ground. This life-cycle is intimately connected with the movements of the sun in coordination with the earth. The wonder of astronomy has led many people to realize the existence of the creator and the sustainer of the universe, who is Jesus Christ. Blessings to you!

    So tonight Im watching these videos specifically the “How to read the bible “series and it inspires me to open my bible app to do some reading for myself. For those of you not familiar, the app always opens to “the scripture of the day” which is a random scripture that you are supposed to reflect on throughout the day. This was today’s scripture:
    “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”
    ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭

    Bless you guys--everyone at Bible Project. Excellent job on this theme. I love the way this video covers God's plan of salvation from Genesis to Revelation in an engaging way that captures the interest of all from my middle-school and teenage grandkids to adults. It establishes a solid framework for reading the whole Bible, like doing the edges of a jigsaw puzzle first helps fit in the rest of the pieces. You are an important voice for Jesus for our time.

    The cinematics and audio are so beautiful it felt like a movie! It was really beautiful because it makes me feel like God works with us. What I mean by that is we make evil cities and he makes cities full of his blessings, he takes our sin and turns it for His good. Ty!

    This is so amazing! There are so many beautiful Biblical truths illustrated. In Jesus’ City there is abundance everywhere. Less is everything with Jesus and more without Him is nothing. I also like it that God wants to meet us wherever we are and will and pursuing us relentlessly. Beautiful !
    God bless you and your ministry at the Bible Project.

What a breath taking animation demonstrating the power of the gospel, nothing sounds more beautiful or powerful then Gods truth shedding Light through the worlds closed walls (and His Love breaking the shackles of darkness that have enslaved us within the worlds systematic lies) Thank You Father, Jesus & Holy Spirit!

    This is timely. We recently discussed Heaven in my Bible Study, and one of the questions we contemplated was 'how do we know we're in heaven on earth'. Explore this idea of the Heavenly city overlapping with earth is an eye-opener and a blessing. Thank you!

Not to mention the numerous amount of beautiful stories the bible provides us. God Bless you ALL and Godspeed with your future projects 🙏

      I just discovered The Bible Project because my granddaughter brought home a one page photocopy of the book of Judges (a summary). I am so impressed. Since I was a child, the narrative of Jethro has disturbed me. You guys “nailed” it with one sentence-Israel no longer knows the character of their own God! While the picture shows the thoughts of Jethro-“God demands this!”. I am not in your target audience age group (lots older) but I would like to learn about the prayer group. My thanks go to the creators AND those who bankroll this project and pray for it!

    I love when my catagories are broken or redirected... and the theme/concept of the city - remade or valued in light of generosity vs. scarcity has re-catagorized & recalibrated my own strategy for the city. I continue to find these bible patterns stir me to recognize in myself and others our propencity to short-circuit or settle for the man-made counterfeit. Its as if The Values and Standards that God has preset are almost within the grasp of the human experiment - but when we as humankind try and "take" or "make" it on our own without the allegience or patience required to be interdependent on God's timely wisdom - BOOM goes the dynamite - and the experiment unravels. (that is my experience anyway). So now add to me and my experience, my bride, my kids, my family, my tribe, my community my city etc... it just muliplies the sticks of dynamite. BUT - THE TWIST is THAT GOD HASN'T GIVEN UP ON THE CITY - ME, MY FAMILY, MY TRIBE, MY COMMUNITY... The city on the Hill that he designed remains the minority report, BUT it's alternative, and future realization of HIS CITY (heaven on earth) - oh what a day that will be, and I need to preach to myself daily that it is a reality that has already begun...

At what point does art direction get involved? How long does it take to go from ideas to script to storyboard? Is that even the right order? Would love to know more.
