My name is Daniel. I’m 32 and I live on Long Island. I’ve been watching your videos for almost a year. I really admire your dedication to making these videos and achieving your life goals. I would really like to meet you sometime for coffee. I’m very familiar with Queens. Keep up the good work and hope to hear from you soon. 🙂👍

hi! A silent viewer from Poland here :) I clicked the like button straight after the intro and the captions that nothing crazy actually happens, it made me laugh and I thought how creative you are. Just wanted to say that I really appreciate what you do and that you decided to share your life with strangers from the interwebs :) You need to know that viewers do actually see how much effort you put into your videos. Anyway, I'm just starting my work week and I'm already smiling thanks to you, Chelsea :) have a good one!

“I love this aloneness. I love being my own best friend. I know my capacity to love is alive. So why not pour that into me for now.”
This sums up the last year and a half of my life living in NYC. I had to learn how to truly love my aloneness because i moved alone and no one tells you how hard it is. It’s still a work in progress, but i’ve learned so much about myself and how i show up for others but also for me. I spent a couple days last summer in a tiny house. There’s something about the silence that is magical. Thanks for sharing your trip with us!

The day trip was fun. For future if you want to start a fire, you can find drier kindling (twinge, branches, leaves) nearer drier spots under big trees. Then with your fire starter start it in that little kindling and then start to add the shavings or loose pieces from the dry wood. Then put it under the big logs once you have it started. Just some advice totally don’t have to use it. So proud of you for pushing out of your comfort zone!

So sorry about your tooth! I had an extraction in September of 2022 - they had to add bone powder into the cavity where the implant was going to go so that good bone would grow around it. It was supposed to take 3 months and mine took 6! I did take extra calcium and D3 to help the process. Got the implant and then that took some time to heal up and the bone to grow around it. Then the prep, etc etc. All in all my process was 14 months; I do feel confident that I got the best service I could have gotten, rather than hurry up and get it done. It is no fun to have an implant fail, from what others have told me. I was able to utilize CareCredit, which was very helpful to help pay the costs not covered by my insurance, as the charges are made as each process is completed.

Love this tiny house, the light in there is everything! Even the screaming toilet is tolerable 😂 I’ve become obsessed with tiny homes & find myself watching tiny house nation, tiny house hunters & others quite a bit. At the end of the day we really don’t need much. Somewhere to sleep, to prepare, to shower/do our business and shelter from the weather. I am a city person, who dreams of someday having a piece of land where I can put a tiny house and also get Amazon deliveries and have Internet access. I don’t think I would need much more. Thanks for another great video Chelsea!

Build a standing triangle with small pieces of wood, put twigs and pine needles, pine cones, paper inside the base of the triangle. Bark is also a good fire starter.
Once the triangle catches fire gradually add bigger pieces of wood.

Lighter fluid will get it to catch, and the lighter stuff will help warm up and dry the bigger logs. They'll then catch and steam themselves.

Your trip out of the city is sooooo inspiring to so many of us including me, very empowering to women of all ages. I'd love to see more videos of you getting out of the city (I'm a hiking & camping girl), or really any kind of adventure you get up to. Now I‘m single and have my own place… maybe soon I will and if not it is also gooood.
I‘m living my life with my cat and I never ever want to go overdraft with my bank account again (accept emergencys).

always remember that the little time you had with Phoebe and she had with you, both of you were happier than without each other! It's about quality, not quantity. I lived in a tiny house that my sister and brother and law built and LOVED IT. it was abt 180sqft w 2 lofts and it was everything I needed. I don’t know if i’d do it again just because i’ve grown to love having separate living spaces (ie bedroom, living room, office) but for the year that I lived there, it was great!! I would totally recommend it if you’re someone who’s looking to downgrade square footage and don’t more than one room for all activities. I will say, things like puzzling and board game type activities that take up large amounts of space are not conducive to tiny house living😅

That was a lot of fun-- take us on day trips! At first I thought you were going to stay in a tent in the woods, lol. That place was really cute. I love to watch tiny house and van life videos, and I wouldn't mind short-term stays, but I do like having a house with several rooms and space. What a great idea to give yourself challenges and some quiet time as well.
FYI-- you can make any tea decaf by steeping the tea bag in a little bit of hot water for like 45 seconds and then dumping that out and make your tea with new water. The caffeine is released right away in the steeping process so you can get rid of most of the caffeine this way.

Hi Chelsea. I like the day trip every now and then but I prefer the you at home or around town, being an introvert myself.

ugh i love your commentary, especially when you were talking about being content in solitude. it’s so real and i think learning to love your own company is one of the best things to learn in this life x

You are become more and more real Chelsea Callahan, you’re rocking it ❤. I love a tiny house and what a way to test one out, so great to see you out of the apartment. I’d love a tiny house but just to difficult in places I like to live in. Please do more of the nights away like this, getting out of your home zone is important. Good luck with the implant, lots of money. And well done on showing us the tooth gap 🙌. I’m betting your subscribers will increase the more real you become to us all. I love your work ❤❤

Please read this before you get your tooth implant. I went through something similar with a tooth in the front and also got an implant when I had no dental insurance. You may already know about this but if not…There is a credit card called CARE CREDIT that you can get that covers any medical expense with a 0% interest rate. You can apply online and approval is quick. If you call in to apply, you can request a line of credit that would cover the cost of an implant, which runs $5,000 at a minimum. I got mine in IN, NY may be higher. Just check with the oral surgeon who is doing the implant to be sure they accept Care Credit but I believe most do since dental insurance isn’t always the best as far as coverage goes. Good luck to you. I’ve had my implant for about 7 years now, have had no problems and it looks good.😄

I'm glad you had a good experience with your implant! I do have care credit, it's been super helpful :) sadly I had to get referred to another dentist who doesn't accept care credit as a form of payment which was sad :(

How to make a fire: start with *dry pine needles/leaves/ paper/ bark - put it in the bottom in a lose pile, then grab small twigs and loosely build a pyramid structure with them like a teepee. Light the leaves and once the twigs burn slowly and steadily add on bigger and bigger branches until the fire grows to where you can put a log on.

The best medicine and therapy I know. Is going camping and being away from the strains of life. Me and my family have been camping for more than 30 years. I highly recommend it. Looking at the star at night is awesome.

Short Kings hearts are breaking worldwide 😂 i needed to hear this perspective and it makes me feel like i am not soooo crazy after all. I hope that others seeing this also feel connection as i have. It has been a rough couple years for all us humans and losing loved ones (rip to NYCs most loved bunny), and going through a divorce in your 30s is soul crushing most days. But, it is so heartwarming to see sould like our Queen Chelsea waking up, showing up, and greeting life in all its pain, laughter, joy, and anger with grace and kindness. Thanks for being you and thanks to the kind community here that i have leaned on recently. Hope all are well and love y'all. Keep getting up!! ❤

I love being alone like this. I love solo trips and spending time at home, making coffee/tea, reading, watching TH-cam or TV shows. I'm 30 now, and recently I had been blaming myself for choosing this kind of lifestyle, but at the moment I'm fully accepting it and do not regret anymore. Love you, Chelsea, good luck and be happy with yourself!

I dare you to go to a Central or South American country, fly to a small resort on a Cessna, stay in a room under a mosquito net, and try food that you’ve never had. I once did this and it was liberating and unforgettable because it was not as bad as I thought it was. It was a great experience and I’ve gone to several different places like this. I can’t wait to go back!

Wow ! What a great lil getaway, Chelsea ! Hopewell Junction, NY ! Love it! Home of the original, Legendary Towne Crier Cafe / Coffeehouse! I’ve been there @ least twice ( like in 1979 & 1980! ) to see touring folksingers back in the day, whiie visiting good friends nearby. It was vintage ! Like an old 1800s general store / combo wagon stop / inn for passing thru travelers. So charming & inviting! Now the TC has moved. Still legendary , & revered by performers & fans !
I love your lil remote & rustic tiny home here! I love how you are so adventurous & you just go for it ! A girl after my own heart ! In response to your question, yes ! More lil day trip / w’end adventures , please ! But keep the “home body” content, too ! Thatz my fav ! Tons of love , Liz

I hope you enjoyed the getaway! It looked really peaceful! I’m glad that you decided to share this piece of your life, and it’s really reassuring to see how ‘normal’ life can be. No glorifying or skipping the hardships for the views. We are only humans and you capture it in such a sensitive way! It feels like watching my older sister, talking about her everyday. Thanks for being the online sister 😊
Your apartment series is also very real and I can so relate to the struggles that fall behind all that you show us. I’m about to move out to my apartment and watching you go through the ups and downs made me realize that it’s totally fine to have them, too.
    Wishing you a great week!
