I just want to say man you made me fall in love with Audi, I’ve liked Audi but after watching your S4 videos (RIP I’m very sorry) made me want to push to getting an S4 myself after my IS350 was wrecked. Keep up the great content and you SQ5 is coming out a beast!

Why you didn't use JHM Test Pipes again on your Audi?
I am curious how it would sound with resonated DP... less raspy?
What exhaust would you recommend that can be dynamic, meaning if you need to make it loud or mute it? In EU there are laws for loudness and if it is too loud and you get pulled over, they measure it with mices, so you get my point...
Alright So I’m Trying To Build An Exhaust For My B8 SQ5 System Rather Than Buy A Pre-Fab Kit. My Plan Is Do Downpipes, Center Resonator Delete & Maybe Axle-Back Exhaust To Finish It Off.
Does That Sound Right? I Feel Like Im Missing Something After The Center Resonator But In My Mind Im Thinking That The Axle
Back Would Be The Next Step.
Any Advice + Suggestions Appreciated!

I hope this doesn't sound like stupid questions but what are the differences between resonated vs non-resonated downpipes, especially for this vehicle including s4/s5 3.0T engines?
I just want to get a more deeper/burble from the exhaust with my cat-back AWE Touring.
Exhaust flow out better,frees up 11 to 17hp without a tune...I did CTS turbo downpipes! Saved about $200+.. for a 3.0t SQ5

Hi bro, my audi s5 b8 3.0 exhaust sound quite worse after I changed the test pipe with stock exhaust setup. Any advise on it as the sound abit too raspy for me.

Mixtape Magic not terrible, not great... 22mpg normal driving. Much less if you drive hard, not much more if you grandma drive it...

Any particular reason why you went with IE’s downpipes over AWE’s since you already have AWE’s Touring exhaust?

Those downpipes sound a tad different than the AWE non-res downpipes. Maybe less raspy.
Will this be a bad setup once you go catless? Im on the fence on what to run based on how loud your setup was on the s4.

Does it make any sense adding the non-res pipes onto the OEM Exhaust? This is a bit loud for my taste, and I like the option of closing the valve in comfort mode. However, a little extra noise isn't a bad thing ;) Also, congrats on the new baby!

I already had an AWE Touring catback, but yes other than that there are no exhaust mods and there’s not a tune needed for these.

The SQ5 is a much better option. Massive gains for minimal mods.

Sounds too much like a Honda. Need some RS4 sonorous howl. By deleting the resonators you got rid of the bass and gave it a raspy pitch.
