Is this the same radiator as the 1997 E420? I have to do the job later on today.

@@justdoityourself Same radiator. Start to finish was a little under an hour. Very easy job.

How much would job like this cost for labor only? Great Video!

Thanks! 2-3 hours of labour. Here in Canada the average rate is roughly $120/hour, so $240-360.

Hello, I just replaced the radiator (Mahle Behr) yesterday and go for test drive.
While turning AC to highest temperature (HI) and Blower Fan low speed, the air is cool. I guess air inside the coolant systems and also running for awhile, I heard high-pitched whirring noise from the radiator.
Do you know how to fix it? THANKSS

Hi! That's sounds like air in the system. Trying squeezing rad supply and return hoses and see if any air is coming out.
Also, most of the time, if you can a car hot and then leave it for a night, the air gets out on its own. Let me know how it goes. Good luck!

@@justdoityourself Thanks my friend, you are exactly right. An hour ago, I just checked the expansion tank has no coolant inside after driving hot early today. Look like the air are plunged out while running hot.
Tomorrow, I will jack up and drain the water inside (I just filled about 4L distilled water yesterday and the tank got fulled), then use 50:50 coolant and hopefully can filled all 10L.
Thanks again for your comment and confirmation. :)

Awesome! If you used water, I'd put 60%coolant next, as there will be some water left, so at the end you will get 50/50.

Haha, l'll tell you more 🤣,
I replaced that radiator again like a month ago, and guess what, new one came with 2 male connections. Same seller, same make and model...it feels like those radiators are assembled in someone's basement by 10 year old.
