Something to keep in mind: Accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt. Bannon has accepted a pardon. He has admitted his guilt in a prior crime. That said, he's also guilty this time. Trump has tried to claim executive privilege and has been denied that by Biden.

But the foundation of the pardon is that you have accepted your guilt for a specific crime, and have been granted an official pardon for said crime. There is no Innocent until proven guilty.
