Thank you for posting this song. I am studying it now - after having forsaken the accordion for more than 40 years. It breaks my heart that I had to start all over again, and put in hours of practice because all the sweat and effort of my youth has turned to rust. Your ability and talent shows you have worked very hard with your music. Don't make the same miserable mistake I have done and lose interest. You will regret it. You are too good to set it aside. Even do just one song a day.
@philomusica you mean for my engineer's? Generally it's reading body movement and gestures via Kinect using point clouds and hierarchical termporal memory (a kind of artificial intelligence).
@Tamsterhan as for now it's highly improbable that I'll be moving on to the further books anytime soon. I've got my last year of undergrad studies ahead, have a project to write, and on top of that I'm currently employed. I rarely even have time to practice the old songs (and I've already noticed a decrease in my playing).. If I go on to books 8, 9 and 10, I'll just start by finishing off book 7 (last 2 songs if I remember) and start uploading new ones when I learn them.
@myplace9 @myaccordionhistory @ImaLanger Thanks you guys :) although the next one will be a much better performance of skill (if I even get to recording it xD)
Dude! You are awesome! This is my fave tango (as played in "Some Like it Hot"). How long have you been playing? You are my idol! I'm a beginner on book 3 :)
Hi Emiliano, thanks for commenting! Unfortunately, at the moment I am unable to continue accordion practice due to several factors. Although I promised myself that when I get the chance, I will get back to playing, recap the first 7 books and continue on to 8, possibly also 9 and 10. Cheers!
@@Ch1mp90I don't know if you are still checking your channel and you are still making videos. I hope that you took up accordion again. Thanks for the beautiful music!
Are you ever going to do Books 8, 9 and 10 of the Palmer-Hughes Accordion course? I would love to hear them played. All of your PH videos have been very helpful. I am now starting on book 4.
