Nice vid Jon a little bit of advice as I'm starting to build stock and I've wanted to add little things like spring cassettes for handles what do you reckon are the most common ones or what makes brands are the best to stock any input would be great Jon and as always great video 👍
Build up a stock of what's in your area so if you goto a job and you don't have it don't just buy one for the job buy at least 2 as there is probably another one in the area.
@barrydoherty636 I use Ultion as my goto, There are other makes that are just as good, it's more down to customers budget and what level of security they want or need.
@peterthebricky I found the spring in the handle was broken when I removed the handle, so it got replaced, as the locks have a spring in them aswell so they can lift the handle up too, so by taking the handle off you can see the cassette was broken.
@Poohbear2025 Oiling a cylinder would be very bad, oil will collect grit a dust, grime over time, I would recommend graphite power, but only use it when required, I have been to jobs where the cylinder stopped working because of too much graphite.
Loving these videos love the channel
@richweston6202 I'm pleased your enjoying it 🙏

Nice work 👏
Good luck 👍 🤠 ☮️ 🌍 🌎 🌏
Thank you 👍
Do you still use the adaptalocks mate? Have you ever had one jam post installation?
No, I never had one jam up, but I'm sure Roland will help you out 👍
Nice work. That was a tricky one to extract. Cup of tea well earned 👍
@neilharper1259 Thanks 👍 got to love a cup of tea, the victory drink.
dont like thumb turns, and can normally remove cyliners with one screw, done it loads of times without fancy lock pics.
@@davecass9486 I would like to see you do that on a 3 star diamond secure cylinder 😉
Nice one, vans looking tidy mate!
@@LocksmithServicesLtd thanks 👍

Jon yes thanks I'm just starting to figure out how this game works appreciated 👍
What’s the best thumb turn cylinder to buy? Thanks for the video.

Learnt something there you left the handles loose until you fitted the replacement lock 😊

Does not oiling the locks cause this or weakened key? I oil once a year and never had a snapped key!

@ActiveLockCentre thanks for the advice. I will use that in the future!
@Poohbear2025 your welcome. If you have any locks with oil in it flush with WD40, then put some graphite in 👍
Sounds like you ran all the way to that job
@stephenaltoft6792 I know the mic picks up everything and amplifies it
