Great video, I have 2 sets of these and I love them. I just purchased the water proof version for when I need em, I do wish they had them with the side zipper!
The whole reason I got the ones with the zip is so I didn’t have to re do the laces every time,but I’m still finding myself having to undo them to put the boot back on. Any suggestions?

You should do a review of Vivobarefoot Tracker. It would be fantastic to see how they fare against your criteria which I find very relevant.

You may be tightening them too much thus the side zip not opening enough or perhaps you have unusually slim shin/calves and thick wide feet. 🤷♂️
Because your laces are too tight.
Mine didn’t come with a protective flap behind the zipper.. very strange.

EMT's, police officers, security detail, military, etc. Not everyone is a larper.
What boots do you use? and how many times have you had to actually survived away from society?
Or you just buy boots just because they're comfortable... thats what I do. I don't plan on buying boots for tactical or survival incidents
