My mom and I went on Friday before Labor Day. That town was hopping! We made our normal stops at both Forks grocery stores and E& S. We stopped at 5 and 20 for their fish dinner as always. It makes for a full day, but it's worth the drive. I missed a lot of those bargains that you found because I wasn't looking close enough!
I thoroughly enjoy these videos. I would definitely go shopping with you, because I love everything you said. I spend hours Antique shopping with no complaints. So I vote, show what you love! 😁

Good morning, Beth! Ohhhh, you know I love these Amish County videos! That Flour for $1.59lb was such a great deal and the coffee 8 for $1, too!!! LOVE the flee market, that flat of veggie plants for $5 was amazing, I would have bought the pepper plants, mine aren't doing well this year. Did you plant 50 tomato plants again this year? I have never heard of raisin pie, I bet Amy would love that. Ok, Barf in a jar just grosses me out, lol! The spoon angels are precious, what a cute idea! $4,500 for a puppy, holy cow...we paid $100 for our St Bernard pup...I cannot imagine paying $4,500...you can buy a car for that price! Was the Last Supper quilt for sale, or just display...that quilt is AMAZING, the amount of work and time that must have taken, just beautiful. I hope you get the three wheeler bike, that would be so handy to have, especially in these days! Now that I wrote a novel, lol...Thank you Beth, I really enjoyed this! Have a great day❤🤗
I didn't plant 50 tomato plants this year because I have so much store bought pasta sauce & diced tomatoes (2 years worth that I found on sale). I figured I'd give myself a break in that area while I could. Next year I plan on planting 50 plus again & making all the tomato products we need right at home. / The puppy prices... $$$! I heard allowing the people to set up this year was highly controversial (heat on the puppies). / The quilts were not for sale but I believe each quilt listed what pattern they used and where to find it in the store. ? That quilt looked like a postage stamp pattern to me. My grandpa use to make those. You sew long skinny strips together long ways... then cut width ways through them to make tiny postage stamp size blocks. What a piece of art!!! / I'm calling about the bike today. It's a starting point. I want a 3 wheel bike with the basket... the motor part is questionable. I was told that if you get a good bike, anyone can pedal for miles and miles. ? / Hope you have a good rest of your week! Ps an old farmers wife told me peppers need a lot more potassium? then suggested (or was it nitrogen lol). Anyway, her peppers were the biggest I'd ever seen. They were the Incredible Hulk of peppers every year (reg seed for California Wonders). Maybe someone knows about that online...

It is a lovely area. The Davis Mercantile actually has a carousel inside and I didn't even think to share that! I will try to get a picture next time and share that in my community posts. Glad that you shared being in Shipshewana. We are here until Saturday. We had dinner at the Blue Gate last night! My Niece loves the Meatloaf. We did buffet as well and skipped dessert. The corn was fresh and amazing! We were at the flea market and the mercantile yesterday as well. My niece loves the puzzle store. You are so busy! Your canned meat looked really good!

I live in NE Indiana and I consider myself a prepper. Your food storage is amazing!! We only live on a small half acre lot but I have six raised garden beds and they grow a lot of beets, greens, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, green beans, and peppers. But I may get brave next year and plant an additional IN GROUND garden next year.
Nice to meet you "neighbor". I'm mostly familiar with in ground gardens because that's what my grandparents & parents taught me. I just recently got my first "raised bed" garden set up. Both kinds of gardens serve a great purpose. A raised bed is easier on my body but my regular gardens allow me to plant so much more (like 50 foot rows of green beans). Hope you are well! Just went to Shipshe this morning. I hit up E & S, Forks, Yoders meats ( they have the best seasoned pork chops I've ever had & seasoned bacon) & Das Kaffee House. I try to get over there every few months. Love dented can I go frequently!
