    Thanks for the feedback Nigel.
Hindsight is a great thing. When that M6 hit me the first time, I was to focused on that other tank and forgot about the M6 when I rushed across that road. I went right off the building then because I was worried about the M6 getting another shot in my rear. Looking back, I should've, after getting to that stairway area, just dropped off the otherside when I had the chance. As they Hindsight.
As for the second game, I stopped at the start because the Mrs cake me for something. Looking back I was a bit passive there, and I did forget about one of my number one rules when that t34 jumped me. Always keep one eye on the mini map.
At the end of the day, I could've done better, I think I helped out ok with doing enough damage which always helps.

Sorry about being harsh on tactics. The AC4 is not an easy tank to play because although the 17 pdr is a great gun, the AC4 lacks the armor to go toe to toe with the enemy. It does have 10 degrees of gun depression, but the fact remains that it is much better at long range sniping. That's why I feel that you would have been better evading the M6 so you could open the range on them and pick him off shot by shot.

@WOTArtyNoobs . All good mate. Yeah like a stated. I should've gone up those stairs and dropped off the otherside a gotten distance when he came after me. Love and learn.
I'm hearing ya when you say it's can be a somewhat difficult task to play. I've only played around 25 games with it so far, with a wr off around 63%. And an average damage around 1k.
Still learning, and advice is always welcome.

@@WOTArtyNoobs . Dam. Autocorrect had a bit of fun in my last post.
Should've been Tank, not Task. And Live and Learn. LOL

Nice games FuBar. Can't say I've had a lot of success in the AC4. Haven't played it for ages either.
Ok Nigel, a few things about the AC1/AC4. We actually got Grants from the US because the Shermans were replacing them in allied forces. We only ever had 2 M4s for trials, both of which are now at the RAAC Museum. Our main armour was Grants and Churchills.
They were all produced at a railway rolling stock engineering plant, not a tractor factory. The hull was cast in one piece.
The AC4 never actually came about for production. Lack of 17 pounders had them using two 25 pounders, side by side, in a turret to simulate the 17 pounder recoil during testing of the new turret and suspension upgrades. There was even trials of a Christie-type suspension going on when the evolution was cancelled due to supply of M3s. The AC 4 did not have the heavy machine gun mount as depicted in the game.
If it went into production, it would have been faster, better armoured and have a lower silhouette than other allied medium tanks. With the 17 pounder, harder hitting than most too.
The 65 AC1s produced up till 1943 were used for trials on others like the AC3, and AC4, placed in storage or used for training until being sold off in 1945.
Only 5 examples are left. One at Bovington, one at the RAAC Museum in Victoria and two at the Armour and Artillery Museum in QLD. The latter two were put together from hulls and turrets from different tanks. The AC 4 there is a mock-up. The last is at the Australian War Memorial, which is basically an empty hulk. facebook.com/watch/?v=1375147243197538

I may be mistaken, but I believe that the hull machine gun was water cooled, therefore, the large shielding over the gun.....

Yes - the gun was a Vickers machine gun of WW1 vintage.

I've stroked the cover on the AC-1 Sentinel at Bovington. I know it sounds perverse, but it continues the joke.
