Why would you even bother to compare it to a $60K car?
@@josh6499 what does looks have to do with price of a car? A miata is far more classically beautiful than any ferrari since the 458.
@@josh6499 because the Z06 will leapfrog this car in a year (or two?). The rear of the Vette needs a lot of work but.. I can't agree that the front of the F8 "looks a million times better."
@@josh6499 I'd rather have the C8 because of its NA engine. 😌
I hate Ferrari reviews. Ferrari puts such stipulation over what the journalist can and can’t say it’s pointless. Ferrari might as well had written the review word for word.
Not just saying this because I have one... but I prefer the 458.
I still like the 458 it looks and sounds the best. I feel like the DRL (day time running) LED's on this new car are pushed too far to the edges and lookes a bit weird.
They had a good thing going with the leds of the 458/488 etc, but these drls don't look like Ferraris
And the vacuum cleaner sound intensifies...
I wonder why is the back end look like a lotus Elise or exige???
Tech overload. Make a new F40 if you want to impress. I want to be able to die in my car if I so choose it.
Excellent review of a world class supercar.
Looks like an Exige from behind - not a bad thing but it’s uncanny
Very sad about the engine noise. It'll get to a point there there will be no desire to buy a new car because the old ones are more fun.
I wish Ferrari could go back to the old school sharp triangle/arrow shaped air intakes on the sides like the 308/328, 288 GTO and F40 etc. had. I loved the look of those intakes.
Literally Shaking no a NACA duct has a specific shape. I’m talking about the large air intakes that were one of the main design features of Ferrari’s of the 1980’s. The F40 has NACA ducts on it’s hood and on the bottom of edge of each side in front of the rear wheels. The air intake is the large intake above that.
with those running lights it looks A LOT like a 720s from a decently short distance
100% true.
This will put undelivered owners of pistas off....it also is just another slight re design of the 458...not a lot new here...
458 and F8 had different engine and suspension scheme , not exactly the same car... btw the completely new is the SF90
@@stefanor6579 yes I know the engines are different but there is no massive change in the look across the three cars. The 458 operta I've been lucky to be around is superb, if a bit lacking in torque.
The only reason the 458 is that good..my theory the incoming MP4 ...made Ferrari turn the wick up on the 458
This guys starts rapping at 10:58, a little while later farts out of his mouth. 🤣😂🤣
He burps at 8:28.
11:15 is nice as well.
Good review mate..
One day they'll build a car that's even more fun to drive than this... and it will be known as the 458 Italia :-)
Slide slip works in race mode too.
This blue one looks way better than the red colour of the launch car.
The side profile of this car is jaw dropping.
It just doesn't quite look right 🤔
I like it over the 488GTB and the pista. looks sharper. some of the elegance of the 458 may have been lost, but I am all for function over form in a car like this
@@furtivedig I don't think it looks bad by any means. But ever since Ferrari ditched Pininfarina the styling on their cars have been quite fussy. The 458 was beautiful, then all versions since haven't looked as good.
Ff was Pininfarina, gtc4 lusso wasn't etc
@@Maurice_Moss I see what you are saying. It is not the nice tnetennba that it used to be ;)
@@furtivedig no, its overnumerousness
You haven’t seen it until you’ve seen it in person.
Now we need an F8 Tributo Pista.
Why don't you let the car in auto mode if you are to hit the rev limiter that much? :)
Best car !
Speed , performance, comfort,
and driveability . Driving a Ferrari it is always an uniqe sound, that nobody car has.
If the Ferrari Pista is slower than a McLaren 720S and this car is slower than a Ferrari Pista then its a fail isn't it?
PISTA (Track)
PISTA on TRACK has been extremely faster than 720S (seconds faster).
this has the same power with less downforce , it should be faster on straights. (if your buying one , an exhaust and tune will easily get 770whp. so who really cares about straight line , foot to the floor , look at me i’m such a skilled driver . if ur worried about a 1/4 mile . GO GET A TESLA
Dude the pista destroyed the 720s on track by seconds!, you can look it up or watch videos, there are like 4 proofs of different carmagazins
Hi, dis you already reviewed the Huracan Evo? If yes, between both cars, which one enjoyed you the most? Sound included of course? Thanks 😀👍
I would honestly rather have an F430 Skud over this.....
Mr Right that’s what everyone in the comment sections says who’s never driven a new turbo v8
Steve Smith it's not necessarily the speed I’m referring too, more the drama and usability of a slightly less powerful car. These 700bhp cars are simply too fast for the UK roads. I feel that 5-600bhp is the limit for me.
Mr Right the f8 is perfectly usable, the electronics mean anyone can drive it. I’ve driven a 488 and a scuderia and the scuderia feels so slow after a 488, all the owners I know have upgraded from the 458 to 488
I know Ferrari’s should be red but holy hell that blue looks good!
the last 30 years have been "the last of its kind"... just stop using that line
with Battery cars on the rise , and downsizing. lets hope we keep hearing it cause soon enough there won’t be any V8 TT’s out there.
@@bigjdm5460 I'll refer you back to my original comment
Gotta say nice things to your consumers if you want their money , look at Porsche .
Very nice, but as others have said, I would want a 458 over this, still awesome after all these years!
