Repentance is IMPORTANT you turn away from your sins and afterwards you keep asking for help from Jesus as we cant do anything at all without him

Not sinning? That cannot be right. We will always sin and we hurt terribly when we do. So, to commit to no longer sin is an exercise in self deception. When the apostle Paul agonizingly wished for deliverance from "the body of this death" what was he talking about but his internal struggle against his fallen nature? And struggle we must but struggle we will...

Repentance is a work. Could you explain this verse in Jonah 3:10 KJV - "And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not."
It would seem turning from evil is a work.

The statement use , Repentance is not I repeat not a work ,is an in complete statement . We don't know what you mean because repent or repentance is a change of mind about the object..( which is not stated in your statement) It begs the question repent of what. It must have an object to be understandable and complete. Now if the object is Christ , a change of mind about Christ ,them obviously it is not a work but a non meritorious change. If the object is sin then it is work, because that is something you do through out your Christian life ,,It take a ho lot of work.

With the exception of faith in Christ ,which is a non meritorious act, repent is a verb and it is something you do.

He probably deleted them cause there were probably a lot of Christians (rightly) rebuking this guy for preaching a works based salvation heresy.

@@truthmystery No, he previously had comments turned off on all videos because many people, both believers and unbelievers, are tempted and do sin by their hearts shown by their comments. But, perhaps because there is also the ability to discuss, which can be fruitful and helpful for the believers and unbelievers, he has turned on comments for his videos.

This is a giant FALSE HERESY TEACHING. Repent is Metanoeo in the original bible. It means 'change of mind' and is why GOD repented in Jonah 3:10 and in Exodus and other places. GOD is the one that repents more than ANYONE in the whole bible how can repentance be defined as "not sinning any more" or "trying to not sin any more" if GOD never sins? He repents more than anyone! Because repent is CHANGE OF MIND. META (change/after) NOUS (mind/thought). REPENT and BELIEVE the gospel means "change your mind from what you trust and put your trust in Jesus!" Not "try your best to perform well and keep the law plus add some Jesus!" Anathema to anyone who preaches a false gospel that adds to Christ's blood!
