Very fun to see Christiane interviewing someone playing a war correspondent when she herself was one of the most important correspondents on CNN in Bosnia and Sarajevo. Once I read someone tongue in cheek remarking that "there was C.A. reporting and dodging bullets at the same time." She is a trailblazer herself.
Kate just nailed it. So many vets and civilians came back and had to close and normalize. I used to bartend a lot of old vets as a young man. The history classes do NOT tell the whole story before during and after the war. My grandfather flew the bombers over the Pacific and much more. He drank hard. Only to other vets did he tell the stories. Ma'am, thank you for telling the story. Telling the reality and giving a picture most today will never see otherwise.
We walked out saying that was one of the best movies ever and why have we not ever heard of Lee Miller before. Many, many thank you's to Kate Winslet and also for this interview.
Let’s start a petition! Who else thinks that we should get a Holiday sequel 🎅🏽 🧑🎄 🎄 with Kate Winslet, Jack Black, Jude Law, and of course, out of retirement, Cameron Diaz all coming back? And I also think that the Director, writer & producer Nancy Meyers should come back as well. Distributed by Universal 🌎 Pictures 👇🏽
Lovely kate Winslet ❤❤❤ looks fantastic as great lee Miller xxx and lovely kate Winslet ❤❤❤ deserve to win the Oscar for the film 🎥 next year and lovely kate Winslet ❤️ ❤ is my favourite British actress of all time ⏲️, she is lovely ❤❤❤❤❤
I really DO hope that both Leo DiCaprio & Kate Winslet returns to work together again soon in the future. Maybe in the James Cameron’s Avatar installment with Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver? 👇🏽
@@morganfisherart 'An Unfinished Journey' and it was at Hot Docs Toronto this April and I saw it and it was amazing. Featured four female reporters, photographers covering World War Two and Lee was one of them. Basically the film stole the idea, focused only on Lee, and I'm fine with that but ignoring the doc is disgusting. I have no personal or financial interest in it so you can use goggle etc. It is worth seeing. Powerful and True
@@HuplesCatHi, Canuck here….An Unfinished Journey was a doc about four AFGHAN politically active women who escaped the Taliban regime…..not sure where you’re getting your title/claim from? Also, my understanding from other interviews is that Winslet’s been pulling a movie together based on Miller for a few years now.
@@chriscarroll277 Duh! So many docs! I love Hot Docs. It was this in 2023 "Luzia Schmid’s Trained to See: Three Women and the War is a brilliant and timely documentary focusing on three extraordinary trailblazing women who changed the way in which we see war. Lee Miller, Martha Gellhorn, and Margaret Bourke-White followed soldiers into battle" It is excellent and the true unfictionalized accounts are fascinating.

@saksham2525 I live in Canada. This movie sucked so much. The trailer gave the impression there's a bunch of action scenes, and it's straight up a boring drama.
@@prabhdeepdhahan1147 I heard this movie took 9 years to complete, and she said it's her best performance. Do you think her performance in this movie is worthy of an Oscar, like everyone is saying?

Love listening to her. She's such a breath of fresh air. No bs, just straight talk.

FABULOUS story of a Muse & a smart cookie LEE MILLER reporter . Thank You for this six minute insightful INTERVIEW .
Thank you! I admire you both as the great powerful women!
In these days of men going backwards this is refreshing to hear women leading and being gutsy.
Susan Ahn Cuddy most definitely needs a film chronicling her amazing story.
You can thank the patronising progressive left for that @@robertlee8805
Kate Winslet, amazing human, phenomenal actress. I never miss anything she does.
Lee was amazing!
Everyone must see it!
Great film, outstanding protagonist! Loved it! Greetz from Vienna

Love Kate. Aside from being a phenomenal talent, she is such an intelligent articulate woman with such a grace and strength about her.
This interview makes me want to see the film!

Lovely miss winslet
Kate Winslet is good in the role, but the film itself is average.
When you enter the abyss, the abyss is watching him.
Hello
The recent documentary on Lee and three others was brilliant. This film is a cheap steal of it and they cannot even give it credit
Could you, then, please give it credit. What is the title, and where can we see it? Thank you!
