In war, many say that dying is the easiest part. The PTSD and the fallen friends that soldiers go through is very depressing and many have to deal with it for the rest of their lives. The story of Price and his fallen comrades is what thousands of other soldiers have to experience. Thank you for your service to all soldiers and nobody gives the credit that soldiers deserve.
Guy here on youtube talking about his experinces in Iraq as a marine. He told a story of a friend of his who he played rock paper scissors for going out again, first round was a draw and the second M26_lemon_grenade won. That was the last time he saw his friend again, M26_lemon_grenade friend was in the gunner hatch when the Humvee hit a IED and the IED had saw blades added for shrapnel damage. M26_lemon_grenade got abit tore up telling that story, life and death can sometimes be as simple as a game of rock, paper, scissors.

Just finished playing MW3 again for like the 5th time. Soap's death still hits till now. The way Cpt Price reports it to Macmillian is so touching. Esp when he said, "He's gone". You have to be so tough not to cry. For someone like Price who seems to be so tough, he's reaction when he looses his brothers can make you cry. Can't for get when he lost Sandman, Grinch and Truck in MW3 and he kept calling out to Sandman hoping he might still be alive.

I played Modern Warfare 2 when I was a kid. For me, this game was not just a game. It makes you feel into the characters shoes. I always remeber the Rio De Janeiro mission, when General Shepard betrayed Roach and Ghost, and especially one of my favorites line 'History is written by the victor'. The story and the graphics are on the top and I will not hesitate to play it again now
You can only imagine the amount of pain Price was feeling in those few moments. Trying so hard to not break down by the graves of his fallen comrades as they had always viewed him as the strong and determined leader to see them through everything, and yet the difficulty of it as well due to the betrayal that happened to Ghost and Roach, the amount of betrayal he had to feel about Yuri when he lost Soap who had been through hell and high water with him
RIP to those that died so others can live to tell the tale. You will never be forgotten. Only when the enemy has taken everything do you honor the fallen as best as you can. This is the end of an incredible story for Capt Price. One final salute to his close friends and allies.

Make it your Head-Canon, doesn’t need to be Canon in your eyes. If this is what you wished to see them this is what you’ll see. You can always remind yourself it isn’t Canon but make it feel like it is Canon if it makes you feel better or more emotional for COD’s great characters like Price. I certainly think of it this way.
The recent MW games can never capture this emotion... The pain of losing favourite characters ( sadly this one forgot to mention Gaz) is what made MW the MW we love... One thing I never really noticed about Shadow Company is how utterly calm and cold their voicelines were. I'm not sure if it was ever directly mentioned in the games, but I suppose these were veterans who had lost brothers in arms during the nuclear detonation in the first game. Willing to follow Shepard into the gates of Hell, right or wrong, to get revenge for the fallen.

The part that made me sad about these is that Price lived through all this suffering and torment; where others he loved and trusted died and broke. I always imagined Price died after killing Makarov, he was pretty injured and fell down from a chopper and then a store down, so I always depicted the ending as if he lit his cigar, took a couple puffs from it and then blacked out as the screen fades to black.
Can't help but think about every mission they went through together, the way they risked their lives to free price from that prison and made it out to fight around the world and for price to be the only survivor must be a heavy burden. He did try to warn them about shepherd, but he was seconds too late.
I still remember ghosts death. I kept thinking “no come on he better get up and do something badass and survive and be the one who kills him later.” Then he never got up and roach and ghost were gone. Sad. This video is amazing. It would be badass if they made a mw3 where everyone dies but price and he goes into hiding for decades and does this and gets the courage to return and kill makorav for them.

The original Modern Warfare campaigns were the best! I had so much fun and heart ache playin through them.
I still remember ghosts death. I kept thinking “no come on he better get up and do something badass and survive and be the one who kills him later.” Then he never got up and roach and ghost were gone. Sad.
This video is amazing. It would be badass if they made a mw3 where everyone dies but price and he goes into hiding for decades and does this and gets the courage to return and kill makorav for them.
