What are some of your favorite record stores to go to in your area, or elsewhere? Have you been to Purchase Street Records and, if so, what did you think of it, whether at the new or old location? Let me know that and anything else relevant in the comments below.
Great video as always, Matt, excellent interview of the owner and you two guys, BUT you hardly showed any shots of the actual store!!! Just a couple of quick cuts.😞Also almost no shots of the record bins!! 😞You sort of described them, but you didn't show them almost at all. Which is a shame really since I 'imagine' it's a very cool place with a fantastic selection of records. (A place selling Paul Baloff action figures has got to be a cool place to visit 🙂)
Great episode, I'm glad we took the trip down to visit Roger at his newer location. I will definitely be back to his store in the future. It was a great week of metal that's for sure. I see someone has asked about the Witchtrap show, it was awesome to see them again. This was the second time they have played in Worcester, first time was back in 2015.
Looks like a really cool place with a lot of history. Love the Vulgar Display t-shirt! Amazing back to back concert trip. Gonna be hard to top that one!
Great video, I've heard of purchase st records. Now i def am making the trip from Taunton. Just started collecting again, metal is my jam. A pretty decent record store if you're in the Fairfax VA area is Mobius records. There's a few near near me that are ok, but not deep in rock, metal, or punk. See you soon!
Hi Matt! Thank you for this trip!) What band's t-shirt is Eric wearing? It's obviously Desolate, but I didn't found them on Spotify. May be an album name?
Desolate is indeed the band that I am wearing a shirt from in the video. They have 2 CDs so far, "Sanity Obliterated" and "Imperator of Flames". Hope that helps Alex, cheers!
Great video! I spend anywhere over $200 at a shop, already feeling quite guilty dropping that much dough. In the Philly area, Vinyl Altar, Sit n' Spin and Long in the Tooth are my spots to shop.
Let us know how the WITCHTRAP show was. That’s one of my favorite bands. Got a bunch of merch from the band delivered straight from Columbia. Not too long ago. Made a video thanking the boys and Uribe”Witchhammer” the drummer who packaged up all my goods. EPIC. I did miss them on this current tour. Will see them one day.

Great episode
"VFW famous" love that. Some of those old all ages shows are my best memories.
Awsome video
Great interview, great store, great video! I love a record store like that, but unfortunately they are few and far between in the UK these days.

This was a cool video!
Looks like a great shop. Love these Record Store Reports!!
Rock Fantasy in Middletown NY is a great place to go check out. Worth a road trip.
I’ve always wanted to go since Pete Pardo shot video there. Looks like I would spend a LOT of money in that shop.

his uncle bobby chouinard was an absolute beast of a drummer and was a huge part of billy squier sound he is one of most sampled drummers in history
It would be a dream to have a record store near me that specializes in metal. I am lucky to come out of any of my local stores with an album or two.
Awesome store!!!! Can’t wait to go to the new location. Planning a trip with friends in April for RSD!
