"Help us Superman!" - Hank Hensha "I'm trying to but one of you is on fire, another is phasing away, and you're turning into machine parts!" - Superman "I blame YOU Superman!" - Hank Hensha *The Backstory*
I'm rethinking what I read up on the comic book version. I don't like how much weaker this version of Hank is, but I have to be frank with you. It makes more sense this way. It was rather contrived in the comics. He basically became a robot, a machine spirit, roaming around until he "borrowed" some if Clark's DNA and mixed it with some machinery to become who he is. That just seemed coincidental to me. He could've done anything but that's what he ended up doing. Imagine. He could've actually been a ghost inside the Watchtower and be helpful instead of an obsessive mad man in space who blames Clark for the deaths of his wife and friends. Like I think he has this whole "I'm you perfected" idea going on. Yeah, this more "General Grievous" style approach makes more sense to me. I just wish he had more of his old technological powers, so he could have a redemption arc. Those things could uproot the brainwashing I think. That and his tech powers are part of his charm when they are written properly.
TBH. I think his backstory is just over relying on Superman instead of doing his job. If I know astronauts they should be prepared and always be cautious on whenever they're about to be launched from orbit. Superman maybe a hero with feats that's impossible for humans. But Superman is still just one person. He out there helping others like stopping bank robberies or something even more devastating. I'm just saying, Superman is just one man and Hank is just really over relying on him without actually doing his job properly. Like having emergency escape pods when the ship is about to explode, or do some calculations to avoid that accident. Or always think one step ahead in case of an emergency. Lex was right about one thing, relying on Superman makes humanity weak.

He knows he's Hank, of course, but beyond that how much of himself is really him? Now he's just a slave of Darkseid, the one who is really to blame, not Superman. I think the speech can be seen as him trying to hint that he isn't really Superman. Like a warning. Talking about the loss of real heroes, for instance, and how he only is standing in for those real heroes. He wants to admit it, to resist Darkseid in any way he can, and maybe to die to be with his wife again. But he can only get that if saved by another, he can't save himself. And so it's Superman, the real hero, who brings him that peace. When Hank dies he sheds a tear, but it's one of relief, freedom from slavery. What is freedom from slavery if not proof of humanity? Proof that you are not simply a tool for a purpose. The Eradicator ends Hank's life, but it ends him as he really was, the astronaut and the free man, with what perhaps is a promise through his wife's grave that he'll be with her again in death. He's quite a sad character even without this interpretation, which is probably a stretch to be honest. But tho that just freaking weird to say that the real Superman and finding out his true identity.
Villains: I was doing for this 500 years
Superheroes Good guys/girls: I can hack it in 1 second
That is the very first Cyber-Doom
Justice League Dark:Apokolips War but we didn't got Ares in the DCAMU . And how dar DCAMU ignore Aquaman after Shazam ? Shazam i would mind him they seemingly , just care about Superman and Batman only but more Batman . The last Justice League animated movie , really should have Aquaman in the team . If Green Lantern and Shazam was on theres own , and why can't we have a better look of Zod in the DCAMU or Metallo and lex luthor first meeting with Superman ? only things we got is Justice League Dark:Apokolips War , Justice league Throne Of Atlantis and Justice League War .
Lois Lane: "I can't imagine who he could be!"
Also Lois: "I know exactly who Steel and Cyborg are now!!"
to be fair clark knows and works with her so is nearby enough to be aware of any investigations into superman that she conducts through superhearing or her just telling him unlike john and cyborg who she doesnt really know. But the glasses ought to not cover him in front of her.
Clark couldn’t be Superman. Clark has human parents. Lois has met them. She’s probably even been to his childhood home. There are baby pictures of him.
Superman is an alien. Everyone knows that. So either Superman is orchestrating some elaborate conspiracy complete with fake parents, fake school records and maybe even fake baby pictures just so that he can pretend to be some random human guy for seemingly no logical reason, or, Clark Kent is just some guy who coincidentally looks a lot like Superman. Which is more likely?
Superman: *Puts on Glasses*
Lois: *I sleep*
Steel: *literally covers his entire body in armor*
Lois: yea mate your cover story is trash
It's a damn shame they didn't get Shaq to voice Steel....instead they went with the guy who plays Black Lightning.
it was darkseid who was responsible for deaths of terri and hank's crew in Excalibur.
im pretty sure that lois lane while being amazing at getting reports is also facing a jail sentence
Darkseid's plans in The New 52 are so wonky.

Eric is a total badass

Cyborg is this astronaut in The Death of Superman

Does the mouse exist for computers in DC.
Most tyms it hurts me that DC are almost unable to make movies as good as the cartoons.
