Always release the Choke once you hear the saw Pop while attempting to start. Otherwise you flood the motor.
Also always use the shoulder strap. It helps to stabilize the saw........ and don't over reach!

Just bought this. So what is the ratio on the fuel mix. I've seen this saw on 3 different sites with 3 different mix ratios. One even(Amazon) says 25-50 to 1. That's a big difference..

Any two stroke will run fine from 25-40. Synthetics often do better at the leaner mix ratios (40+). If you’re not running it hard, lean is fine. Running it hot and high rpm’s for extended amounts of time, richer is better. But the way I see it, richer is safer. I always shoot for around 30:1. Then if your measurement is off you’re not ruining your engine. The only downside of too rich a mixture is having to replace a spark plug every now and then. Downside of too lean is replacing your engine 😆

@@burnout_MEDIA Thanks!! The web can be confusing when you look something up that is made in China and translated a dozen times. Best to go with advice from someone who owns and uses a product.. I just do small jobs around the house(20-30 min max mostly at idle) so lean is ok...
