The socio-economics of Virginia Highlands is on par with Alpharetta. One distinction, though, is that Virginia Highlands is walkable, thus it has walking proximity to the things people want ready access to. Alpharetta, on the other hand, being that it's a suburban town, offers more acreage per house lot, but Alphatetta is too disconnected within itself to be a tightly-knit community.
