As far as I know the wingmirrors were changed because of excessive wind noise at higher speeds on the pre-lci mirrors. Could still be wrong though. Also, I think you already know this but just to be sure, if youre thinking of a brake upgrade, also consider the e90/e92 335i calipers, they're plug and play on the front and probably the best bang for buck option as they get better reviews than the bmw performance calipers.
Thanks Velox. I’ve asked other owners with the pre-LCI mirrors about the excessive wind noise since I read about it as well. Thus far no one complianed and once I heard that there was a fix for if it did occured by adding some material in between or behond the actual mirror and the housing.
Really nice content considering all other E82's on TH-cam are 135i's. Regarding the wheels, I'm a big fan of those 313M's when combined with 12/15mm spacers, very OEM+ look.
