I'll try and do a video on desmetiana soon, but i'd pretty much treat her as a E. glauca. The only thing that may be different is offset production- demsetiana is not as prolific with pups but will grow enough. Leaves can be a bit tricky and don't always grow leaf babies but have about 60% success rate for me. Also, prone to powdery mildew during wet weather. Hope this helps ☺
It's so strange that there are tons of videos propagating leaf cuttings, but none of them tell you how to care for the plant. Like when do you water? Do leaf cuttings need to be watered? How about After they've produced a plant?
Hi, we have a two part video dedicated to propagating succulents from leaves that cover all of those questions :) In a nutshell, there are different ways you can go about caring for leaves- personally, i let them produce small plants and roots on a plastic tray (no soil) and don't water until i plant them in potting mix. Lack of sunlight is the cause of leggy plants. Place your plant with more sunlight
