Thank you all for participating in this discussion and sharing your experiences. Very helpful information and insights for those of us who are supporting a partner with OM. Best wishes for long healthy lives to all.
Thanks so much for this! Recently diagnosed (Nov ‘24) and completed plaque therapy. I have been scared out of my mind since then, mostly due to reading on the internet. This has given me tremendous hope. I was under the impression that metastatic phase was a death sentence, basically giving you at most 5 years. This video suggests otherwise. I would very much like to know more about the therapies the participants received for metastatic disease.
@@pietersmit6139 we’re so glad it was helpful to you. Check out our website, acureinsight.org for more information on metastatic disease. We have more videos on our channel about metastatic treatments too.
@ biopsies carry very little risk. They used to be considered risky but research has shown it doesn’t increase the risk of spreading the OM cells. Any medical procedure has some risk but the risk for a biopsy is very small.
Thanks to all who participated for sharing so much great info about their personal experiences.
Thank you all!❤❤❤❤❤ I’m only a few months into this.
