Thanks Brad appreciate it. That was the plan to inform people that this might not be the right option if they plan on using it as advertised

Yeah Dan that amount of lag especially in the truck as you were driving is definitely no good for speed running rc cars, thanks for sharing this video though as there seemed to be quite a bit of interest in these in one of the rc groups on facebook, I actuallly think a couple guys bought one. I was thinking about it at one stage as a back up GPS reader myself but i will give it a miss now.

That’s exactly what I was initially thinking was to use this as a backup but obviously that’s not going to happen now. For me this unit is useless not sure what I’m going to do with it.
      Thanks for watching buddy 👍💯

This one does seem a bit too risky. The lag might not be a problem as long as it displays the speed at the end and doesn't get cut off but how do we know it will display the highest speed? Not being able to zero it out is also a concern. I use the Meilun and it is fine as long as you give it time I can never get an accurate top speed reading with it until I get in several passes. I've tested it in my car though and it was spot on and not laggy. It just needs more distance to get an accurate reading. I know you use it as well and it is one of your recommendations. Nice job Dan.

Thanks Ryan, I use to use the Meilan untit didn’t survive a big crash, I’m now using the xoss GPS but think I might grab another meilan as I like the size of it. As for this ZMR GPS not being able to zeroed out is a huge problem and pretty much makes it useless in my opinion

Thanks Robby, definitely not an ideal GPS for accurately measuring speed
