Raleigh/Durham International Airport Plane Spotting 1999

Raleigh/Durham International Airport. Filmed in the Winter of 1999. Scenes include the old Terminal C. An American Airlines Boeing 767-200 (N339AA), an AA 727-200, a Midway 737-700, and several Midway CRJs. The AA 767 was delayed due to mechanical difficulty, but ended up departing an hour and a half late for its flight to London-Gatwick.

Oh WOW. This brought back a lot of great memories for me. Old Terminal C. Back when you could still go into the terminals and hang out, shoot video, and take pictures without being yelled at or frisked. Good times. Midway's A320s were the first Airbuses I had ever seen, and the 727 was my childhood favorite. Miss it dearly.

man! what a trip down memory lane... we used to go to the airport past security hang out and watch the planes all day.. Midway used to offer sandwiches and rice krispies on their flights and it was the best!

Do you have the exact date and time of this video? In Christmas season of 1999 it was entirely possible that I was there, boarding a flight to Chicago.
