As a Utah resident, I can confirm we wake up every morning and go to Maverik to get our daily 44 ounces of fry sauce with a hint of the blue stuff sprinkled on top
It's really great to hear people talk about their "lesser known" Home state! I love hearing what they think of their hometown and the unique culture that comes with it. (And this is coming from someone who’s from the middle of nowhere in the Midwest 😉)
Neighbor from the south here! (Arizona) I've always found Utah's variety of environments very beautiful. Where I live in Arizona (I live on a volcano) we SOMETIMES get snow, but it's only because of how high up it is (7,000 feet). It's also EXTREMELY dry here. The volcano is directly at the border of the Sonoran desert to the south and a Ponderosa Pine forest to the north. Although I have always been a fan of Arizona's deserts and mountains, Utah just seems like a nice blend of everything. There's something for everyone in Utah :] Also, I can attest to the red rocks being awesome. Deserts are epic ̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶o̶b̶j̶e̶c̶t̶i̶v̶e̶l̶y̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶b̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶e̶n̶v̶i̶r̶o̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶ ̶ I mean what huh I didn't say anything :] Genuinely though, always glad to see another desert fan.
