Omgg heyy exams are finally over for mee luckily I got all 90 mostly 95 or above! I suck at Chinese so I only got 91.5 and for English i got 95 for math I got 98 and general studies I got 99. By the way, it's funny you say you would love to have a train. . . Just the other day I was at the store and saw a train for sale and thought it would be awesome to have, but I have no room for it. Trains are cool though. I like them. 🚂
Thank you Mr C! Trains are the absolute coolest thing. It’s such a part of our history. It’s an absolute necessity for trade & commerce. It’s romantic. I love trains! But I have to tell you… when they are really close to your house and they run by about 20-100 times every 24 hours…OMG! 🤦🏻♀️
If I could, I would have a big room dedicated to a small scale town with trains and cars and the whole thing. At Christmas time, I would decorate the whole village! 😀😀😀

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction Growing up I always thought trains were cool. My grandparents lived not too far from a train track and the track led to a river, and I remember when I was very young my grandfather and I would walk down the tracks to the river and shoot his .22 rifle.
In more recent years I became interested in trains because of exposure to Agatha Christie's "Murder on the Orient Express." A friend of mine recommended the 1974 film and I loved it. I've since watched the 2010 adaptation with David Suchet and the 2017 version with Kenneth Branagh. I've also read the novel and watched two documentaries on the real-life Orient Express.
All this has made me really want to experience a luxury train like that. Unfortunately America does not know of such things. The best I've been able to manage is a ride on Amtrak, on which I did a three-day trip from San Diego to Chicago and then Chicago down to Memphis. I wish train travel was more of an established thing in the US and we had more options.
Anyway, trains are cool, but yes, I assume that living within earshot of a train track would probably get old quickly.
Hey C! I have been on dinner trains in California that were romantic as all get out. And it was gorgeous! Through pines and mountains. So incredible. But… I don’t think you will find an accurate historical ride like what you are looking for. Gone forever, I am afraid. Amtrak!? 😬👎🏻

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction You just reminded me of something. . . Did you know there is a dinner train in Chattanooga? Just search for "Chattanooga Dinner Train" and you should find the website. (I would link it but it will probably get this comment marked as spam.) I had forgotten about it, but I read about it when I visited Chattanooga a little while back and made a mental note that I should come back at some point and make sure to ride that train. Maybe if you could get over there then it would be reminiscent of riding the train back in California.
Believe it or not, the Orient Express still runs. You can go ride it today if you want, but it's VERY expensive. If you want to do the full trip from Paris to Istanbul I believe it's about $20,000 for the cheapest accomodations. If you just want to get a taste on the short leg Paris to Berlin I think it's around $3,000. Maybe one day I'll have made my fortune and can afford it!
Regarding Amtrak, it's not bad really, it's just not great. It's certainly much better than riding a bus, and it's also more comfortable than flying. But it's not a luxury train by any means and it's too expensive for what is offered, especially if you get a sleeping car.
