Only thing bad about ready to use is the cost when you are a professional. This would be great for like maintenance clients tho 👍🏼 the foaming action is great too. I understand what you are saying about ready to use is more simple as long as the cost per use is on the lower end 😁🤝🏼
Most people like ready-to-use products, there's nothing wrong with that, but I like to dilute it myself so I can dilute it depending on how dirty things are. keep up the great work!
Great point!
Depends on who's purchasing products. I'm a full time detailer and concentrated is the only way to go for me vs ready to use. General consumers want rtu. A good company will have both 😅
I prefer concentrated, for value for money. Otherwise, to me, it is not worth ordering overseas.
I like to have some foaming when scrubbing. I prefer a light tropical scent for my cars. Appreciate you sharing the insights on how you develop your products, keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching!
Love the green/yellow color. Absolutely agree about the sunscreen aspect as well. Here maybe not so much sunscreen as lotion for hands and body. It’s all over the steering wheel and where someone would rest their arm on the door and I find that is sometimes difficult to remove completely.
basic APC and scrub pad takes it off all the time
Im a fan of foaming products on plastic however I am not a fan of prediluted products. As a professional id love a concentrate so i can dilute it myself.
A grape or strawberry sent would be nice. Even a green apple. I love adams fruit scents
Looks good Jimbo , foam covers more 👍
Pol-Star...this is my new go to for interiors. It will be very very hard to beat. I suggest you try it out side by side. This is the top dog for interior cleaning.
P&S express is okay also for the money
Heard great things about Pilot by ADS (Have yet to try due to PolStar being amazing)
Love the content, but throw that makeup brush in the garbage lol. All it is doing is spreading product around. Use a scrub pad or a microfiber on that arm rest. I never use the soft makeup bristle unless it is the piano black or delicate surfaces. If it's for the gram, I get it. But my hands/wrists/fingers hurt just watching the application process lol.
thanks for the feedback. What do you like about pol-star? Ive seen some decent things about ADS but I dont like how it makes stuff shiny. Seems like more of a protectant than a cleaner.
@@autodetailingpodcast PO is PH neutral, leaves an oem matte finish and is supposed to protect against dirt. Dilution is 1:5-20...I like around 1:8. It smells fresh like a citrus smell. But it doesn't linger which is good also, being some customers don't want scents. I like the way it feels, it just feels and finishes off nice. I am also not worried about it staining panels.
@@Jarph0821 awesome, ill pick some up, thanks for the tip!
@@autodetailingpodcast yeah, np. I highly recommend it. It'll help you diversify your product line
Glad it is going to have UV. I prefer high foam.
I am sensitive to all scents so little to no scent is preferred. Also, so often the product scents start competing with each other and it quickly becomes overwhelming. With no/minimal scent, if a client wants a sent I can add it at the end of the day.
Thanks for sharing your new ideas. For interiors I like using products that clean & protect in one. The scent is not important to me or the color? I do like products that can be diluted. Lastly, the cost is important, currently I'm using an interior detailer that cost about $25 a gallon. Also, I will use a rinseless wash for moderately dirty interiors.
Great tip!
I like the foam action going on 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 will it have uv protection too? As far in scent for me in my environment anything that smells fruity tends to leave a funny not so good smell. Guess any like a citrus smell works
Yes it will have uv protection. This current scent is more fresh than fruity. Scents can definitely get bad quickly especially in heat.
Definitely prefer more foam, gives you more time to clean a larger area, also fresh clean scent seems better than a fruity smell for the interior of a car.
Totally agree!
If you plan on doing some interior comparison videos to see how your product stacks up, here are some really good interior detailers - Chemical Guys Nonsense Super Cleaner, Ethos Fresh and Shine Supply Cruise.
Thank you. This is what I was looking for.
pol star is arguably the best
P&S express is okay, but not the same ballpark. Still very useable.
I prefer more foam as long as it wipes up easy and clean. A fresh scent or the all dressed up scent is good. Will this product be able to clean windows?
Yes it’s similar to all dressed up, working on it being able to clean windows without streaking. It currently is streaking on windows for me.
Could you sell a concentrated version in a gallon but also have a ready to use version in spray bottle? Much like DIY Detail does with All Clean.
Yes that’s a good option too
Hey Jimbo! Could you pelase give me a quick overview when do you use the orange wash towels and in what scenarios you move to the "softwe than soft" gray towels?
Which one would you use to apply and buff off Tough as Shell?
i like the grey to apply TAS because its a shorter nap on one side and thicker on the other. The orange I keep for wipe downs and in a bucket as my wash mitts.
@@autodetailingpodcast thanks! do you apply with the thicker side and buff with the shorter nap?
The problem with RTU chemicals is cost. I can't be going through 2 gallons a week.
Question, used the contact form on your website a couple days back. What's the best contact method with questions?
I’m not sure what the big deal is about “dilution ratios” are. If anyone has ever made food, and followed a recipe, that’s far more difficult than mixing a measured amount of a single product into a measured amount of water.
you'd be surprised...
How about a scent that smells like COGNAC 👀🤗🤗🤗🤗
When is going to be available? No rinse needed right now?
Labels are being printed right now. So about 2 weeks or so until it’s ready
How are you developing these products? Do you have chemsitry certs? Or studied? Show videos without revealing details when making the products?
Def not a chemist. I have one on my team.
Oh so your just testing the products? Not actually creating said products?
@@curse6of6me6 I’m not physically mixing the raw materials together. They are made specifically to my specs.
What is that pad looking thing you are using to scrub the interior?
amzn.to/3Z1AJuy
I'll prob be in the minority here, but I rather zero foam on interior cleaners. I also never found a need to use a brush to foam up a whole door panel or center console. Just seems unnecessary to me.
Same
Got me some super soaker bro !!!!! Yeah !
thanks for the support!
@@autodetailingpodcast you know it, maybe next month it’ll be more
Your code its not working to get the towel
Are you sure your cart total is $100 before you add the towel?
@@autodetailingpodcast when is that interior cleaning coming out?
@@Pedroluvslupe just started working on it. So prob a month or so
