how long did the koi last in there ? its neither deep enough or big enough for koi and as for the frogs how did they manage to get out the pond ,i didnt see any ledges or islands for them to get out :(
Mate learnt more from your video than professional installers 👍, installing koi pond next couple of months, weather permitting,,I'm in England and it's always pissing down or ground frozen,.as we occasionally get some ⛅😡, but great job lad, and very informative video (told there not called videos 🧓) and just dealt another blow,there is no disco's anymore there know rave's ☹️🤯😕,, might have to delay this pond, incase I have heart attack putting it down.Lol ,,, cheers lad 👍🇬🇧👍
Lowering the bucket into the pond and tilting it so the fish can swim out naturally would have made it a little easier on you :) but you did a nice job

Yes, koi fish are actually cold-water fish. They are able to survive in water that is between 39 and 90 degrees, but the recommended water temperature for them is between 59-77 degrees Fahrenheit. I do plan on keeping a water heater in the pond though so that it's not too cold.
@@hiyaks I don't recall him mentioning any specific reason but my best guess would be he likes the look of blue tinted water or to provide a contrast with the rest of yard and border
You shouldn't be putting Koi into a Tiny pond! It's way to small and not Fare for them ' It's way to easy for predictors to get them in that tiny Death trap pond

after a year wont be doing good when they are huge u need at least 4ft depth for koi to really live
