Alabama Football Season Preview: 2024 Predictions, Impact Transfers, More

Chase Robinson and Drew DeArmond of ESPN 97.7 The Zone in Huntsville preview the Alabama football roster for the 2024 season and share their predictions for the Crimson Tide. Topics include:
- Kalen DeBoer takes over for Nick Saban who was the head coach at Alabama for 17 seasons.
- Jalen Milroe has spent a lot of time developing in the off season in the offense that Kalen DeBoer brings.
- Alabama has a very talented running back room led by Jam Miller and Justice Haynes.
- The Crimson Tide also has good depth at receiver with Germie Bernard who transferred from Washington, as well as Kobe Prentice and Kendrick Law.
- On defense they have some key guys returning on the line with Tim Smith, Tim Keenan, and Jehiem Oatis.
- There are some questions in the secondary for Alabama but Malachi Moore returning at DB will be a bright spot. There is some inexperience in the secondary.

Honestly I think Alabama got better at receiver. Caleb Odum a 5* TE is playing receiver at 6’5, Germie Bernard is at least in my opinion better than Burton, and Ryan Williams will be elite we’ll just have to see if he’s elite in year one or not. But I definitely agree on the DB’s. 2 transfer CB’s that were good but not great at their previous schools and 3 5* freshmen
